Luck is when preparation meets opportunities.

It is disheartening to see some people label themselves as unlucky. 

They’re devaluing what they have while also repelling opportunities. 

If you often find yourself in this mindset

A. please consider the following:

→ have you prepared enough?
→ have you showed up consistently? 
→ have you really invested in yourself? 
→ have you joined forces w/ like-minded people?
→ do you allow self-doubt to repel opportunities? 

B. Remember:

Luck doesn’t just favour the bold.

→ It favours the proactive
→ It favours the persistent 
→ It favours the ones who believe in their abilities 

Prepare in a way that it primes you for success.

With enough preparation and dedication

you go from “unlucky” → creating your own luck.

Social media has changed how one "displays wealth".
(and I think it's exciting!)

Growing up, I was often taught and reminded: 

- that display of wealth is like bragging. 
- that it garners the wrong kind of attention. 
- that it's unfair to those who are financially struggling. 

I was told to always live below my means.

Ideally, I like what I was taught. As I learn more, I understand that even more. 

But being on social media just for a few months now, I have realised how important it has become to "display wealth".

"Holy sh*t...I just hit $500k"
"I made my first $1000"
"I hit $30k/month"

IRL, if a stranger came up to you and opened the conversation with one of these lines, you would be puzzled. 

On social media though, it is motivating. It is not bragging. It is thriving. 

It is confidence. It is aspirational.

No one is comparing. Everyone is competing with themselves from yesterday.

And this is why I think social media is changing how one "displays wealth".

Your post doesn’t have to be perfect to get the results.

Your grammar can be a solid 6.

Your topic can be the most random one.

Your carousel can be really long, or even 2 pages.

All these things hardly matter as long as you have a great strategy in place…

Because it’s the strategy that will get you results

not the “perfect post”.

1 win leads to a series of wins.
It propels you towards your goals. 
It creates momentum for upgrades.

However, it's important to not to let complacency creep in after that initial success. 

Consider your first win as the opening of a portal to bigger achievements waiting to be achieved.

Many people who set specific goals, such as buying a particular car or watch, often struggle to progress beyond that point. 

Why does this happen? 

It's because they become fixated on that singular achievement. 

They forget that they’re meant for better things.

They lose sight of the bigger picture and fail to set new, ambitious goals to strive for. 

Instead of resting on your glory, use your first win as a launchpad for bigger accomplishments. 

⁃	Set new targets.
⁃	Continuously challenge yourself.
⁃	Enjoy the journey of self-improvement. 

This road to success is not a destination but a continuous journey of growth and development.

Never get complacent.

Last night, I made a list of all my problems.

25, to be exact. 

I was overwhelmed by the end of that list…

but at least having them on paper felt like I could resolve them. 

As I was thinking about the next steps, I realised something important:

Most of my problems are just things I need to do. 

They’re essentially not even problematic. 

But not doing them timely makes ME the problem. 

I wasn’t overwhelmed anymore.

In fact, I felt motivated to accomplish them.

That’s exactly what I started my morning with.

And checked 3 of them already off the list.

Goes to show how much space we let our “problems” take up, when in reality, 

they’re not even that problematic.

"I have to force myself to promote myself."

A friend told this to me yesterday and my response was, 

"if you have to force it, you will end up disliking what you create...."

It's great to want to promote yourself outside of what you do for your company. 

But if you treat it like an extension of your company's mission, you will find it easier, to begin with. 

That way, you won't run out of things to talk about. You'll know who to actually connect with.

and soon you will also know if you're doing valuable work.

because if you like your work, you will like talking about it too.

Balancing Personal brand and company representation.

You are covering the essential rules in your writing.

But you’re still struggling to make it pop. 

It could be one of these 3 reasons. 

Consider asking yourself these 3 questions the next time you sit down to write :)

It is not about ignoring responsibilities.

You owe it to the amazing ideas waiting to come to surface.

MONDAY REMINDER!

Indecision is worse than no.

You wasted time agonizing over a decision. 

That's alright. 

You learned something valuable. 

But don't get stuck replaying the "what ifs" and regretting the wasted time. 

That's just wasting even more valuable time on absolutely nothing.

Move on. 

Use the experience to inform your next decision, 

even if it means making a different kind of choice quickly.

This will help you avoid analysis paralysis again.

You can stop marketing your business when Nike stops marketing theirs. 

If you stop marketing when you’re busy with fulfilment and when you’re seemingly at capacity, you will struggle to have leads waiting for you when you’re not! 

If brands like Nike are still marketing themselves, I firmly believe, you should too!
