Soho House was the 18th century home of Industrialist & Entrepreneur Matthew Boulton.
The mission of the YAB was to forge and re-imagine Soho House’s identity being inclusive of young people and ethnic minorities. My experience and insight has been critical in shaping the future of BMT as I am still involved with cultivating the formation of the Youth governance structure. 

• Identified and pitched 5+ key areas for expansion: new revenue streams, digital marketing content, community links, diverse programmes and accessibility

• Further developed the 20+ programmes for the annual year, providing expertise of the near community allowing a more inclusive and diverse approach

• Communicated suggestions and reviewed current practises allowing crucial discussions to take place enabling BMT to understand and reach their targets

Accepted into the pilot scheme which paired me with 1st year students who were also studying Law but failing to pass modules. I opted for 1:1 sessions and organised: sessions, resources and was responsible for reporting back to the faculty. 
 
• Created specialised action plans for 3 under-achieving students setting objectives via 5 monthly targets, resulting in 100% progression into 2nd year.

Student Academic Mentor

I was responsible for holding our 7 elected Executive Officers to account, evaluating their actions and results in quarterly meetings. 

• Analysed and annotated submitted quarterly reports attaching detailed constructive feedback

• Initiated discussions regarding EO decisions ensuring proposals aligned with the 3 year strategic plan for the 23,000 student members

• Made recommendations regarding: Marketing/Engagement/Awareness/Campaigns

• Resolved conflict between EO, providing practical solutions to allow for more transparent communication and cooperation

• Streamlined evaluation process, increasing time in meetings to gain further insight and provide recommendations to Officers’

• Maintained knowledge of inventory, reducing customer wait time by 10 mins

• Delegated and lead a small team to allow all our tasks to be completed within the allocated time- frames
