I managed a portfolio of product categories - particularly categories of high-risk durable goods (helmets, safety equipment, ATVs, flammable liquid fuels, life jackets, etc.), for product safety concerns issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and other regulatory agencies.  I triaged product safety calls and messages from consumers, investigated the complaints, and provided recommendations for resolution.  I eliminated over two months of back-logged safety complaints, releasing well over $100M in product holds. I used ISO, ASTM, UL and other domestic and international product -class standards to evaluate safety testing and results against vendor submissions.

I walked into a new role in a new space following a 5-company M&A, including the market leaders in hydroponics development, manufacturing, and sales, encompassing multiple states and a manufacturer in the Netherlands.  My role including establishing a baseline for company policies and procedures, operational policies for incorporating product safety, avoiding conflict minerals in our supply chain, and providing the required labeling language for CA Prop 65 and other regulations.

Proposed and implemented strategic plan to maximize reciprocity between states' licensing programs, resulting in a comprehensive license requirement tracking matrix for all 50 states and the Virgin Islands.  Resulted in doubling the number of states' the company was qualified to bid.  I also managed the corporate equity holdings program for all officers, shareholders and Board members, completing all necessary stock management and dividends, quarterly. I oversaw the creation and management of all corporate subsidiaries, LLCs entities, and partnerships, authored the Board's minutes and provided training to all company personnel on emerging laws.
