There are other worlds with other wonders. We have to open ourselves up to find them. But often we get so caught up in our own little world, that we do not see them. The best way to go about life or finding these wonders is to heal yourself. Figure out what needs healing first. Hint: look at your upbringing, past experiences, any traumas, or something you have still not processed properly because it was too painful. Exercise, a routine (like running or cycling) or just trying to meditate can be very helpful. Once you have healed you are more likely to have positive and productive experiences. I have more than a decade of experience working in finance and technology. My passion stems from my desire to understand whether we can do things better, how we can do them better, and what are the implications of that. Naturally, I am drawn to financial markets (crypto trading in particular these days as a hobby). However, what intrigues me is people. People generally all have a story to tell and a perspective on life. Almost everyone is a gem waiting to be discovered by the right person. Having said that, I am currently working with the Trading Risk Quants team of ING Bank on the development and implementation of valuation adjustment models for derivative contracts.
