I’m Aimee Gindin, Founder of The Full Plate. I am a Certified Nutrition Coach, Intuitive Eating Counselor, and former mental health clinician. For most of my life, I believed the path to health (and worthiness) came from shrinking my body. I’ve counted, tracked, measured, weighed, and willed myself through nearly every plan out there. And like so many others, I always ended up back where I started — only more exhausted, more frustrated, and more disconnected from my body. Eventually, I realized: it wasn’t me that was broken. It was the system. I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and worked in the first part of my career in mental health before spending over a decade in leadership roles, helping individuals navigate change and thrive. But it wasn’t until I discovered Intuitive Eating that things truly clicked — personally and professionally. Today, I combine my clinical training, coaching tools, and lived experience to help busy adults and families make peace with food, rebuild body trust, and pursue health without obsession. I believe food should feel joyful. Movement should feel empowering. And your worth should never be defined by a number on a scale.
