I was born in Mumbai finished school by playing, playing and "byhearting the answer" I was a mischievous kid, but my teachers liked me, so they rarely called my parents instead gave me punishment. At times, I was obliged to sit inside the principal's cabin and read books ("Hardy Boys-novel was my first one"). This punishment provided me with a viewpoint outside of my own tiny world. (Thank you, madam principal.) My parents encouraged me to study Engineering because of my good scores. In my first year, I wondered, "Why did I enrol here?" I don't believe in byhearting answers if I don't understand a concept. My first year grades decreased because of this sui-philosophy. And that's when it happened. I got the spark I was missing when I read about cloud computing, control systems, network analysis, and other things in my second year. I fell in love with many engineering subjects when I realised that technology is speeding up human progress. I started doing a lot of research and ended up doing a few projects that led to internships at tech start-ups. I got my first co-founder opportunity @Algonation Technologies, quite unsual way. My First internship “Zestride- Justdial for hobby classes” I ended up doing business development & sales, and I got more than 100 customers in the first three months. Then I ended up learning a lot about sales and marketing from YouTube and online courses. In 2015, I got my first job as a marketing manager at a US-based company called iSense Incorporation. I also got an MBA in marketing later on in life. Back to my unusual story, Zestride shut down in 2017 and I got a call from the company's founder" would you like to be a co-founder in web/app development company?" I said yes, and we built the company together and got a good exit. I love to read and travel. I volunteer regularly and am passionate about social good and technology. . 3 things that come naturally to me: - I always put customer at the centre in everything I do. - I'm good at executing big ideas into action even with restricted/ limited resources. - I trust my gut, but I prefer to base my decisions on data. Currently, I am working to grow Offee and disrupt the education industry. My daily morning coffee begins with a single thought: “How do I make outcome based education a reality for every educational institute. I love my job! I hang out with a lot of educators. I try to dig into their day to day problems and solve them by modern technology. If you want to talk more about business, outcome based education hit me up @[email protected]
