At Eximo Marketing we work with manufacturers who have an established business to business (B2B) model and help them on the journey to sell direct to consumer (DTC). I run three products for B2B organisations: 1. Pre Flight Checks to make sure this is the right move for you (it isn’t always) 2. Launch is a programme to get you to first revenue 3. Orbit is about ramping up the DTC part of your business to generate increased sales and eye-catching margins Our work is more than just helping you build an ecommerce website (we’ll do that anyway). It’s about tackling the people, process and tech innovation that are all necessary to pull off a sustainable and profitable DTC expansion in a world class way. I‘ve been in marketing since 2001, focused on marketing strategy since 2015 and running Eximo Marketing since 2017. I’m one of those weird people who really loves what they do and bring that passion and energy to every client engagement. I know not everyone feels the same way! So I aim to keep everything we do simple and accessible. If we’ve met, you’ll know my mouth does an awful lot of work, so it won’t be a surprise that I host a podcast, guest lecture at two universities, host events and speak at conferences. The Strategy Sessions podcast is me interviewing amazing marketers from around the world to find out what makes them tick. With the Mini MBA and MSc in Marketing under my belt as well as a passion for education, I enjoy guest lecturing at LJMU and working with UniVaasa (Finland) on their online course. My event hosting is about bringing an informal style to events and my style is perfect for less formal events or those occasions when the audience needs to feel involved in the event, not just spectators at it. As a professional speaker, I combine academic research, real world experience and an engaging style that works with the audience (rather than talking at them). The three boxes I look to tick in every keynote are: educational (you’ll learn something), effective (you’ll be better at your job) and entertaining (you’ll have a good time). I’ve spoken at events in the UK, USA, Slovenia, Ireland, Germany, Albania and Macedonia. And if you want to know more about me, I love bad jokes, getting an eye-roll from my teenage daughter, rugby league, boxing, cricket and chips. Especially chips.
