I missed my daughter’s birthday. I was working 65 hours a week in a toxic workplace, for a boss who cared little for family or work-life balance. I never wanted to be that parent. I hated myself for it. More than that, I hated my job. After, I decided I would do whatever it took to not allow that to happen again. Later in my career, I had a unique opportunity to coach a colleague going through a difficult time, both personally and professionally. It was during that time I felt my calling as a Professional Career Coach. Now I coach my clients and help them escape from situations like I have experienced in my professional career. Life is too short to be in a job you hate and one that keeps you away from the things that matter most. I am a Certified Senior Professional Career Coach (SPCC).
