JPMorgan just linked its $10 TRILLION per day payments engine to Base.

But almost nobody understands how BIG this really is. 

Let’s break it down.

JPMorgan’s payments business moves around $10T every single day.

That is more than 100x the combined daily volume of Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Even if just 1% of that ever touches onchain rails, it completely rewrites Base’s scale.

Because every transaction on Base pays fees in the network’s native asset.

So, more institutional volume on Base means more demand for ETH.

Now here’s what people keep misunderstanding.

JPM Coin is not a retail stablecoin.

It is a tokenized deposit called JPMD.

It is strictly for institutions.

And unlike stablecoins , which the GENIUS Act prohibits from offering yield, JPMD can be interest-bearing because it represents actual deposits inside JPMorgan.

This lets institutions hold dollar balances onchain without losing the yield they earn in the banking system.

Completely different category from USDC or USDT.

So what actually happens on Base?

1. An institution starts with fiat in their JPMorgan account.
   
2. JPMorgan tokenizes deposits into JPMD inside its system.
   
3. Upon client's request, JPMorgan mints JPMD directly on Base.
   
4. It still represents a claim on real US dollars sitting inside the bank.
   
5. Now it can be moved, settled, automated, or pledged as collateral instantly.

And importantly, institutions can swap JPMD into USDC on Base using approved liquidity venues.

That is the on and off ramp linking bank money to crypto-native rails.

JPMD → USDC → back to deposits at JPMorgan.

This is institutional only.

This is permissioned.

But it still uses Base as the execution layer with ETH as gas.

And JPMorgan isn’t stopping there. 

Over time, they plan to:

• Extend JPM Coin to other public chains beyond Base.
• Expand JPMD into multiple currencies.
• Give clients’ clients access JPM Coin.
  
But the biggest kicker?

JPMD will be accepted as collateral on Coinbase.

That is a global bank’s deposit token sitting inside a major crypto exchange’s collateral system.

This is why all of this matters.

Because this is the first time:

• JPMD can be swapped into USDC directly onchain
• Biggest US bank puts institutional deposits on a public L2
• Institutions get programmable settlement & treasury automation 24/7
• A bank deposit token is accepted as collateral inside the crypto markets

Not all of JPMorgan’s flow is going onchain.

But its pipe is huge.

So even a small slice of that is enough to turn Base into one of the most important financial rails in crypto.

The real adoption wave won’t be retail.

It will be trillions of institutional dollars quietly moving into programmable money.

Forget Bitcoin – Its price is down 1% year to date.

There's a chain with better tech that just 10X in 1 month.

Zcash has exploded back into relevance after almost a decade in the shadows.

Not because of hype.

Because the market is waking up to something we’ve ignored for years — real privacy built directly into the chain.

Zcash looks and feels like Bitcoin on the surface.

Same fixed 21M supply.

Same Proof-of-Work foundation.

Same “hard money” ethos.

But underneath it runs something Bitcoin doesn’t have:

Native zk-SNARKs that make transactions fully shielded when users choose to.

That means sender, receiver, and amount are hidden on chain.

And this matters now more than ever.

• Europe is tightening surveillance.
• US regulators are circling privacy tech.
• Users are increasingly shifting toward tools that protect their data.

That’s why shielded transactions have been climbing.

That’s why Zcash integrations across mobile wallets and cross-chain bridges have suddenly accelerated.

And that’s why investors like Arthur Hayes publicly call it “encrypted Bitcoin.”

But here’s the uncomfortable truth.

Better tech does NOT automatically win.

Zcash still faces real structural weaknesses:

→ It’s not listed on many major CEXs.
→ On-ramps and off-ramps are limited.
→ Wall Street doesn’t treat it as digital gold.
→ There are no ETFs, no DATs, no institutional distribution rails.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin dominates all of these.

Not surprisingly, Zcash’s $8.5B market cap is tiny next to Bitcoin’s $1.9T.

A large gap that exists largely because distribution, access, and recognition still work against Zcash.

Yet people forget that Bitcoin once had the exact same limitations.

In its early, it wasn’t listed anywhere.

No liquidity, no custody, no regulatory recognition.

Yet it still broke through.

If this cycle proves anything, it’s that ZK-powered chains are entering their moment.

Privacy isn’t the enemy of regulation.

It’s the next chapter of crypto.

And Zcash is suddenly back in the conversation as the first real test case.

Public blockchain data was never supposed to be a feature.

It was a workaround.

A temporary artifact of not having better tools.

Early blockchains had to expose everything because it was the only way for the network to verify the state.

Everyone had to see everything so consensus could work.

But that design came with a hidden cost:

→ Your salary
→ Your portfolio
→ Your transactions
→ Your trading strategy

All visible to everyone.

This wasn’t “radical transparency.”

It was a limitation of 2009 cryptography.

And now that limitation is finally breaking.

A new generation of privacy-preserving technologies is emerging that keeps the rails public while the data becomes encrypted by default.

→ ZK (zero-knowledge) proofs let you verify claims without exposing the inputs.

→ MPC (Multi-Party Computation) lets multiple participants collaborate without revealing anything to each other.

→ FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) lets smart contracts compute on encrypted data without ever decrypting it.

Meaning encrypted trades, liquidity, and balances are all computed but never revealed publicly.

This is not a small upgrade.

Encryption lets ETH, L2s, and chains like Solana keep their consensus engines exactly as they are, while transforming what happens inside the smart contracts.

→ For Ethereum, it means DeFi can evolve into private trading, private lending, private market making.

Without MEV extraction or leaking strategy to competitors.

→ For L2s, it introduces a new differentiation layer.

Not faster blocks, but encrypted execution environments that feel like running private apps on a public network.

→ For Solana, it means high-throughput apps can keep their speed.

While removing the data-leakage that scares institutions away.

And across every existing chain, it unlocks:

→ Dark pools without frontrunning
→ Payroll without exposing salaries
→ Regulated assets with selective visibility
→ Corporate accounting without leaking financials

This is the crypto version of the shift from HTTP to HTTPS.

The rails stay open.

The consensus stays public.

But the data finally becomes private.

And this is what unlocks mainstream adoption.
 
Because the 99% of global finance and enterprise workflows could not touch blockchain before due to privacy concerns.

I said it before and I’ll say it again.

I LOVE when crypto markets are crashing.

Most people panic when Bitcoin drops to $80,000.

I don’t.

Because this is what crypto has always been.

Cycles of euphoria and cycles of fear.

Up and down.

Greed and panic.

And the people who win long term are the ones who stay rational when everyone else loses their mind.

𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘐’𝘮 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭.

Here’s the truth nobody wants to hear.

• When prices go up, I don’t buy.
• When fear takes over, I don’t sell.

I’ve been patiently stacking stablecoins throughout the bull market.

Building a war chest while everyone else was chasing memecoins.

Now the market is bleeding.

And I’m deploying and buying the dip.

If the market rebounds from here, great. 

I’ll flip my position and lock in profit.

And if it keeps crashing, even better.

I’ll buy even more.

Because my conviction hasn’t changed one bit:

→ Bitcoin is digital gold and will eventually be bigger than gold itself.

A 20 trillion market cap is not a fantasy. It's a matter of time. 

→ Ethereum is the decentralized computer and It is the settlement layer of the new financial system.

In the future it will secure trillions of real world and digital assets.

→ Solana is becoming the new NASDAQ on chain.

Fast, global and programmable.

So I don’t care whether we pull back another 10% or 40%.

Volatility is inherent part of crypto markets.

And this industry rewards cold judgment.

Not panic.
Not emotion.
Not dopamine trading.

So yes, I love when crypto prices are crashing.

Because that’s when the real money is made.

Michael Saylor’s Strategy is now under the threat of being DELISTED.
 
And that alone could unleash up to $11.6B in forced liquidations.

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) is the world largest Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) company.

• Trades at 0.9× mNAV
• Holds 649,870 BTC worth ~$54B
• Its stock is already down -43% year-to-date

So how did the strongest BTC balance sheet in the world end up in this position?

It all started with Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI).

One of the most influential index providers on the planet.
 
Their classifications dictate how trillions in passive capital move.

And MSCI is now questioning whether Strategy should be treated as a Digital Asset Treasury vehicle instead of a normal operating business.

If that sounds technical, here’s the simple truth:

↳ If MSCI reclassifies Strategy, it gets kicked out of multiple MSCI indices.
↳ And every passive fund tracking those indices is forced to sell.

JPMorgan analysts estimate $2.8B in immediate outflows if MSCI removes it.

And if Nasdaq, S&P, and Russell follow the same logic, another $8.8B of selling could hit.

Pushing the total potential sell pressure to $11.6B.

This is why the entire industry is paying attention.

Because this isn’t about Strategy alone.

It’s about whether companies holding BTC at scale will continue to be allowed inside mainstream financial benchmarks.

So what's Strategy's response?

Saylor pushed back instantly:

• Strategy is not a trust, fund, or holding company
• It’s an operating firm with $500M revenue software business
• Bitcoin is only a form of “productive capital” as a part of its treasury strategy

But index providers don’t move on belief systems.

They move on categorization.

And right now, Strategy no longer fits neatly in theirs.

This moment will decide something far bigger than one ticker:

→ Will corporate BTC treasuries be recognized as legitimate business strategy?
→ Or will they be pushed out of major indices and treated like investment vehicles?

The next MSCI update will shape that answer.

And billions of BTC flows depend on it.

We all talk about stablecoins as the next big meta in crypto.

But there’s another 100x opportunity still dormant.

Stablecoins already proved their point.

They surpassed $300B in market cap.

They settle more volume annually than VISA.

They have clear product-market fit across CEXs, DeFi, payments, remittances, on/off ramps, etc.

But tokenized equities?

They’re still sitting under $1B onchain.

That’s nothing.

The US equities market alone is worth well over $60 TRILLION.

So even a tiny slice migrating onchain — 0.5%, 1%, 2% — would mean hundreds of billions flowing into tokenized assets.

And the early signs are already here.

Many companies like Ondo Finance or xStocks are already offering tokenized stocks.

Even Nasdaq has recently filed a rule change to allow trading of tokenized stocks and ETFs on its order book using DTC’s blockchain infrastructure.

That's because traditional rails are slow, restricted by trading hours, clogged with intermediaries, and settle days after execution.

But tokenized stocks flip this on its head:

• 24/7 trading
• Global access
• Instant settlement
• Direct self-custody
• Full composability with DeFi

This unlock is massive.

When equities live natively onchain, they’re no longer trapped inside siloed brokerage accounts.

They become liquid, portable, programmable assets that can move freely across networks.

→ You can LP them.
→ You can borrow against them.
→ You can fractionalize or bundle them.
→ You can plug them into automated strategies and routing systems.

It also transforms market structure itself.

Capital becomes far more efficient because it no longer sits frozen in multi-day settlement cycles.

And liquidity becomes deeper because assets consolidate on shared onchain rails instead of being fragmented across dozens of brokers and venues.

Equities going onchain one day will be bigger than stablecoins.

Stablecoins were the proof of concept.

Tokenized equities will be the industrial revolution.

This is the meta nobody is paying attention to.

Yet it’s the one with the highest upside.

Crypto prices are driven by hype and narrative.

But this approach is NOT sustainable and the market is starting to recognize it.

The era of inflated launch valuations with high FDVs (Fully Diluted Valuation) is unraveling fast:

→ Most projects launched at massive valuations have lost 70-90% since their debut.
→ Investors burned by unrealistic expectations are now pushing for deeper, fundamental value.

What's changing?

Institutional investors have entered the crypto space in a big way.

And they're bringing traditional financial rigor with them:

→ Fundamental analysis
→ Comprehensive due diligence
→ Emphasis on long-term viability and utility

This means the next wave of successful projects won't just have flashy websites or influencer endorsements.

They'll need to demonstrate:

• Real-world utility and tangible user adoption
• Transparent governance and accountable teams
• Sustainable business models beyond speculative trading

Crypto is maturing in real-time, transitioning from hype to substance.

This shift won't eliminate volatility entirely, but it will reward protocols with genuine fundamentals.

Hype might spark initial interest, but only fundamentals build lasting value.

X is where crypto lives.

But it’s NOT where web3 businesses scale. 

Most web3 companies grow on X, get love from early adopters, and build credibility inside the crypto-native bubble.

But the minute they try to go mainstream and sell outside of it?

Everything stalls.

Because these new buyers that actually move revenue don’t live on X.

They’re on LinkedIn.

• They speak in value.
• They care about clarity, not hype.
• They don’t speak in memes or jargon.

They want to understand the problem you solve, the outcomes you deliver, and why it matters to them — not to people who already “get” web3.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:

If your growth depends on selling to TradFi, banks, FinTech, enterprises, SaaS, or other B2B buyers, then X will only take you halfway.

And halfway is where most web3 companies get stuck.

This is the chasm most web3 teams NEVER cross.

But the ones that do?

→ Reposition their story
→ Show up professionally
→ Speak the language of their buyers
→ Publish content on LinkedIn that brings inbound leads

And ultimately they win deals competitors never even hear about.

LinkedIn is not optional if you want to scale.

It’s the place where B2B, enterprise, TradFi, etc. businesses evaluate you, trust you, and decide if you’re worth their time.

That’s where the next stage of web3 growth will come from.

Many teams tried to build decentralized social networks.

Yet NONE of them escaped the gravity of web2.

For the last 4.5 years, Farcaster, Lens, friend dot tech and others tried to answer the same question.

Can you rebuild Twitter and Instagram onchain and get people to actually move there?

Farcaster went the furthest:

• Raised $100M from VCs
• Attracted top crypto natives
• Shipped a sufficiently decentralized protocol

On paper, they had everything a decentralized social network needed to break out.

Yet its Co-Founder and CEO Dan Romero just admitted the uncomfortable truth almost every SocialFi team avoids.

After years of shipping, iterating, and pushing growth, the social graph still didn’t scale.

The feed didn’t go mainstream.

The user base never escaped the early-adopter bubble.

Translation: they never found product-market fit.

So now Farcaster is pivoting away from the social-first strategy and prioritizing a wallet instead.

Ironically, the wallet category is already brutally competitive.

Coinbase Wallet (Base), MetaMask, Phantom and others dominate the market with far deeper distribution and trust.

If building a decentralized social network was a steep uphill climb.

Then going head-to-head with the largest wallets in crypto might be an even harder one.

But the real lesson is bigger than Farcaster.

Crypto crowd never liked X, Meta, LinkedIn and every web2 platform for years.

We talk about censorship, centralization, and owning your data.

Yet when given real Web3 alternatives, hardly anyone moves.

Because network effects don’t bend to ideology.

• Your distribution is still on X.
• Your audience is still on LinkedIn.
• Your conversations are still on Instagram and Telegram.

Decentralized social platforms never accumulated the liquidity of attention required to compete.

And without that liquidity, nothing scales.

Whether we like it or not, the world still runs on centralized feeds.

And decentralized social is still looking for its first real breakout moment.
