Helping Scale Up Founders transition out of founder led sales is no easy task- but it is something I am passionate about and love doing! 

After winning Presidents Club 4 times. Training THOUSANDS of BDR's and Sales Reps (independently and a part of organizations) I have learned that there are 4 key elements in scaling a start-up from 0-1M:

1) You must have a clear message of the value that you provide to those you are serving that you can articulate in 30 seconds
2) You must have clear understanding of WHO you are targeting (what challenges do they face, where are they located, what can YOU teach THEM about their industry.
3) The Founder MUST have sold the product themselves and been on the ground floor
4) You MUST - LEAD. WITH. VALUE.

I have taken these teachings to help scale up founders transition out of founder led sales and build their tech stack and sales teams out in a profitable manner where we can 4x their business. 

WHAT I DO:
- Post Content on entrepreneurship on sales
- Cold Call my butt off!
- Run an outstanding podcast on sales and entrepreneurship
- Build Playbooks, strategies, and execute on scale up go to market.
- Coach SDRs/BDR and AE's on how to prospect with integrity.

CORE VALUES FOR SUCCESS
1) No Asshole Allowed - I do not work with people that don't have integrity and don't have a firm belief in treating everyone with respsect. Full Stop.
2) Family First: Know my why - I am out here hustling and working hard because I have two BEAUTIFUL children and an amazing wife at home that I support and love. They will come before any and all prospects and business.
3) Treat every customer like they are my only customer. Your brand lives and dies by the work you put in. So I put my all into everything I do. 
4) Fail Fast course correct quickly: Its ok to fail - but do it quickly so I can learn. This means asking the hard questions and making the hard decisions even when I don't want to. 
5) A Healthy Body means a healthy mind. Always focus on prioritizing my health and wellbeing - there is always time for daily exercise and self learning.

TLDR for those who don't like reading: Be yourself. Go with your gut. Some things you can train and others you need to learn through experience. 

You can't teach intuition. Its something you develop over time and something that is very important. 

I called Arun through our Hubspot Dialer. Because of the AWS issues today - something funky happened and wasn't sure if I connected or not. 

Got a HubSpot notification that Arun had called me back. 

I texted him. We had a nice 8 minute conversation and I booked him in for a meeting with Zac. 

How many people would have sent a generic and boring email. 
How many people would have done nothing? 

I kept my texts short
I kept them specific (why I was reaching out)
I texted like a HUMAN BEING

In real life we are one way and when we talk to a person that we've never spoken to we are another way. 

Why?

It doesn't matter if I'm cold calling or if talking to a client or i'm talking to my wife. You get Ari. 

If all you ever do is be yourself then you never have to pretend.

I love when a good plan comes together!

This week Me and Daniel Edwards met in person and made significant progress on our new social strategy.

Whenever putting together a comprehensive plan, we don't just look at what needs to be done and approximation - but certainties so that when it comes time to execute - we simply follow the steps that we laid out.

- Trial different softwares to know for a fact which one works
- Do a time audit on how long different tasks take
- Put together a budget of SPECIFIC platforms, AND what they each bring to the table.
- Put together a RACI chart of who is responsible for what on any given basis.
- Make sure that plan integrates seamlessly into each of our systems.

It takes a lot more effort and work to put these kind of steps in place.
BUT When all is said and done - it is undeniable what work/effort will be done on a weekly/monthly basis and what the outcomes will be!!
