I am responsible for leading technical efforts that are carried out by multiple product development teams. At the beginning of projects, this involves collaborating with stakeholders and product managers to best understand business needs. Once requirements have solidified, I work with project management to design the project and assess risk, paying consideration to available resources, skill sets, and other potential restrictions. 

Once the project has begun, I work with teams as necessary to carry out technical goals. This includes leading detailed design discussions, removing technical blockers beyond the scope of implementation teams, producing documentation, performing code reviews, and mentoring team members to improve their skills.

As a member of the architecture group, I research new technology and best practices, produce proofs of concept, and evangelize future-thinking principles to the rest of the company.
