It has been on the cards for a while and now it has happened.

Genesis has filed for bankruptcy protection. The crypto lender appears to be another victim of the #ftxcrash contagion.

The firm has a restructuring plan, but it remains to be seen how that works out, or what the impact on parent company the Digital Currency Group will be.
