"Hot take" is possibly my least favorite way to start a post but I just did it anyway. Took one for the team LinkedIn. Recently reconfirmed by a lovely "Hot take" from Casey Rickey🖌️ & driven home by the "Hot take" himself Collin Strachan. If you don't follow either of these fine gentlemen, and don't hate your eyes, you probably should. 👀 Hot take over and out. 🫡

Meditation made me feel like a total failure. I thought I was incapable until I learned this. When I first tried to meditate 12 years ago, I expected peace and mental silence. Instead, I got an avalanche of random thoughts, to-do lists, and doubts. I assumed I just wasn’t “zen” enough. That I didn’t have the discipline or the right mindset. But then I discovered mantra meditation. Instead of forcing my mind to go blank, I repeated a simple phrase like “guru om” or “I am” That repetition gave my brain something to focus on. Not silence, but softness. Not control, but guidance. Not direction, but vibration. Suddenly, I wasn’t fighting my thoughts, I was flowing with them. And for the first time, meditation felt doable. Even blissful. So if your brain won’t shut up during meditation, good. That means you’re human. You’re not failing. You’re just getting started. What’s been your biggest struggle with meditation? Would love to share experiences on this. 🙏🏻

New AI use case… liven up a family road trip with customized, topic & age appropriate trivia! We laughed super hard and learned a bunch. But don’t take everything AI tells you as truth as it makes mistakes too. Amazingly it is humble enough to admit and correct itself, at least in my experience. Hope this helps 🤠

The #1 reason growth-stage companies delay a badly needed website redesign? It’s not because you don’t see the cracks. You know the site is outdated. You’ve outgrown it. Services have evolved. Your team has scaled. Your brand story might be flat-out wrong by now. So why not fix it? Simple: you’re focused on solving client problems and growing the business. Totally fair. But here’s the catch; this kind of procrastination can get expensive. Real expensive. 75% of people judge a company’s credibility based on its website. (Stanford Web Credibility Research) That means investors can pass, clients can bounce, and top talent might scroll right by… all in a few seconds on a stale site. You probably think a redesign will be a massive time suck. But honestly, with the right team, building your new site can take less time than it did to find that team. “I sent over a brochure, gave them some project info, and joined 3 meetings. A few months later, the new site was live, and already bringing in results.” Ryan N. A strong site isn’t a vanity move. It’s your digital first impression. It’s where all virtual roads lead. Your business & growth deserve a presence that reflects it. Let’s make sure the split second judgment you receive when some one hits your site is favorable. Ready when you are. 🤠

There’s a quiet shift happening in marketing right now. More brands are finally realizing that VALUE is the new FLEX. That educating your audience is far more powerful than pitching them. That trust isn’t earned by shouting the loudest, but by showing up consistently with real insight. We’ve all seen this trend growing on social media (for a good reason). Founders sharing what they’ve learned. CMOs posting frameworks and breakdowns. Even Fortune 500s starting to sound more like mentors than megaphones. But here’s the part most haven’t caught onto yet: This same strategy belongs on your website. Your site isn’t just a digital brochure. It’s your 24/7 teacher. Your most patient salesperson. And if it’s not giving people a reason to come back, it’s not doing its whole job. Imagine this instead: A website that houses not just what you do, but what you know. An evolving library of insights; blog posts, case studies, white papers, deep-dive FAQs, designed to help your prospects grow their business, solve their problems, and trust your leadership along the way. When you build this kind of website, something magical happens. Visitors don’t just land on your site and leave. They bookmark it. They send it to their team. They come back again and again warming themselves to your brand before your sales team ever gets involved. That’s not a funnel. That’s a relationship. 🫶🏼 And the brands that invest in this kind of value-first experience? They don’t just get leads. They get loyalty. They lead. If you’re thinking about making your site smarter, not just prettier, Shoot me a message and I'll show you exactly how we approach this.

I got stung 4 times yesterday but Snoop Dogg is the one shaking the hornets nest of the music industry 🐝 Love this share by John Kraski 🤠

    Profile picture of John Kraski

    John Kraski

Snoop Dogg is mad as hell! He just said "bye bye bye" to Spotify. Over 1 billion streams. Less than $45k in payout. He's done. According to Billboard, Snoop is now the face of Tune.FM, a Web3 music platform paying artists in crypto (JAM) with real-time micropayments and no middlemen. Andrew Antar the CEO of Tune.FM said, “Snoop is the OG pioneer who is always on the cutting edge of technology and new ways of doing business. He totally gets it, and we are ready to take on the world together.”  He’s dropping his new single “Spaceship Party” exclusively on Tune.FM. And moving his entire Death Row Records catalog too. Expect to see lots of cool stuff from Snoop on Tune.FM. Fan giveaways. Private events. VIP access. This is the shift we’ve been waiting for. I talk about this shift in my book The Future of Community, where creators finally own, control, and monetize their content. Web3 isn’t coming. It’s already here. Let's go Snoop!

You ever look totally great on the outside… while quietly falling apart inside? People kept telling me I looked calm. Collected. Like I had it all under control while our company dodge crushing blows & continued to double year after year. But the truth was… I didn’t. I was actually foggy, getting more and more tired & disconnected. No it wasn’t burnout. I had the best life / work balance ever. It was the water… contaminated and quenching my thirst daily for months on end. A silent killer. Almost. Like a perfect photo of a sunset. You can’t see the wind. The crashing waves. The chaos below the surface. Just like the version of me most people saw. So next time you see someone’s “perfect moment” remember, still waters might just mean they’re barely holding it together. Have you ever felt like you were hiding chaos behind calm? I’d love to hear your story.

Your business will only grow to the level of stress your body can safely handle. Read that again. Unfortunately we weren’t raised in a world built for physical or energetic safety. We learned early to override instincts, to hustle as a survival strategy. Stillness feels like a threat because “being” feels unsafe. We’ve been conditioned to equate doing with safety. But deep down, our nervous system just wants to protect us. So when growth feels dangerous, we pull back, self sabotage or burn out. As entrepreneurs, our visions stretch beyond comfort. But our biology resists the unknown. It’s not just mindset, it’s wiring. Learning to signal safety at the edge is the real work we need to be doing to grow. To stay present in expansion without falling off the cliff. 🫣 Your business, your impact, your freedom All only grow to the level your nervous system can hold. Fortunately, just because we weren’t given the tools doesn’t mean we can’t learn them now. You deserve to feel safe in growth. To access your full power. To live the life that actually lights you up. 🌞 So find the tools that regulate you. Even if they seem weird to “normal” people. (They’re boring anyway.)

Want to come ENJOIN us daddy? Yes, yes I do. 🥹

Stop calling it failure. Start seeing it as initiation. The kind that shapes warriors, not victims. What if the moment you thought everything fell apart… was actually the moment everything began?!? In my experience, these tough moments, the ones filled with rejection, uncertainty, or even ridicule, have been precisely the moments where the most growth takes shape. They forced me to pause, reflect, and deeply feel into the lessons hidden beneath the discomfort. I don’t always get it, especially the first time, 😅 but when viewed this way, challenges & even “failure” become less frightening. They become something we can embrace, rather than avoid. They’re not here to break us; they’re here to wake us F up, to elevate our consciousness, and to teach us something profound about who we truly are. Yes, it’s scary. Yes, it’s uncomfortable. 🐛 yBut what waits on the other side is always worth it. 🦋 So next time life hands you something hard, instead of resisting, ask yourself: What is this teaching me? How is this helping me ascend? Why is this happening FOR ME? Lean into that discomfort. Because right there… that’s your portal to the “you”, you want to be. I look forward to meeting that upgraded version and hearing of the fire you walked to arrive here. Many blessings my friend. 🙏🏻

At 3:33, my 3-year-old asked me to play Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3. At that exact moment, a new friend, Sero a brilliant human I met here on LinkedIn messaged me about life in Mexico. Coincidence? Or something more? 🤔 Either way, I’m listening. If you’re into clean living and alternative (actual) health give Sero H. Kassabian, MPH a follow. If you’re struggling with health you should probably give a call. Happy Saturday beautiful people. 🫶

Gratitude & blessings to all those doing the hardest, worst-paying, most rewarding job on Earth. Thank you to the moms doing their best to keep the next generation alive and thriving. To the ones who brought us into the world. (Thank you mom :) To the mothers of our mothers. (Gracias abuela) To the mothers of our ancestors. To all the mothers from the beginning of our lineage, from the very root of our creation. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We are only here because of you. I love you. I see you. I honor you. PS I could use your help. Kidding not kidding ;)

“AI has made me less productive.” That’s what my brother Eric Wcislo said yesterday. He’s wildly creative but not exactly an “artist”, at least not in the traditional sense. Yet, here he is, using AI to bring his inner child to life. Not building spreadsheets or automating workflows... But turning himself, father, brothers and nephew into a Garbage Pail Kids. 😂 Honestly? I think it’s a win! AI isn’t just for crushing business tasks, it’s unlocking creative expression for people who never thought they had an outlet. What's your take? Is this a waste of time? Or a healthy release of long-pent-up creative energy? Also which is your favorite?!?

                33

Two career-defining opportunities came my way this week and LinkedIn had nothing to do with it. I wasn’t at my desk. I was at the beach with my family. The people involved? One hasn’t posted in 9 months. The other has never posted at all. Just a reminder: real connections still happen offline. Keep your energy aligned, both online and IRL. You never know who’s picking up on your vibes or when the call to action will come. Curious to see what these opportunities become. 🤠 Wishing you a blessed (and beautifully unexpected) weekend.

When’s the last time you touched something you’ve never touched before? A piece of the Earth… or a part of yourself? Grateful for the unknown, for the beauty in new experience. Happy Tuesday from my happy place.

                  40

Life lately has been a whirlwind. A hurricane of divine sunshine and stormy skies. We’re deep in the jungle, in yet another new home, trying to create a sense of safety and rhythm in the chaos. Two parents & a full of life 4-year-old, out here on our own. No support system. Building businesses, navigating health scares, sleepless nights, and the constant dance of trying to build a life worth living while finding harmony with the forces of nature. And amid all that… The best work I’ve ever done, years in the making, beyond anything I imagined I could create was smashed to pieces in a few months. Still, even in the wreckage, the light breaks through. Today, that light came in the form of two souls: Chelsea Linge and Jack Rosenkrantz 💫 We connected virtually, but the energy was anything but distant. It was real. It was healing. It was the kind of conversation that fills your cup and then refills it again. No judgment. Just presence. Just kindness. Just love. The kind of support that comes when you show up consistently, when you speak from your truth, when you trust your intuition and follow the nudge to reach out. We may think we’re connecting for one reason, but Spirit knows better. There’s always something deeper waiting to be revealed. To anyone walking through a transition, navigating grief, identity shifts, or rebirth — check out Chelsea and Jack. They are holding space in a way the world desperately needs. Grateful. Humbled. Recharged. Thank you both. Keep shining. You’re on to something truly special. Infinite love & gratitude. ONS 🔱

                    41

Head down, heart open, full throttle. 🚀 This is when I shine. It’s how I do my best work without losing myself in the process… or worse, getting swallowed by the noise and endless distractions we face. Not because I’m moving my fastest, but because I choose actions that align with my heart. I used to think “progress” meant squeezing as much as possible into the time I had. It’s not. It’s about intention. When I stop chasing, I start channeling. Here’s what that looks like on a good day (and let’s be real, they’re not all good days): Before I open my computer... I light a candle. Burn incense. Chant a mantra. Then write one raw sentence about what I feel, not just what I need to do. I find my ground. Start from the heart. Then go full throttle. Because focus without feeling? That leads to distraction, crushing tasks you should’ve outsourced, making false progress. But aligned energy? That’s momentum. ☄️ If you’re building with both fire and feeling, I feel you. I’m here for those who carry the flame. Let’s connect & create. PS. I used to have the pleasure of aligning at this waterfall almost daily and did some of my best work there 🙏🏽 PPS Anytime I hear anything about racing or going fast (like this opening line) it reminds me of you Scott Fisk 🤭

Google said it would take 2 days, 16 hours to drive from Costa Rica to Arizona. It lied. It didn’t factor in Central American “pavement,” narcos with machine guns, roadblocks, stampedes, or that flood in Honduras. But I made it. 4 days, 13 hours + $347 in gas. Totally worth it. Somewhere around the Mexico border, surrounded by security dogs who did not appreciate the scent of my car, I signed a six-figure client! What I learned? Don’t believe everything you read. Not on LinkedIn. Not on Google Maps. Especially not in the media! We live in the Wild West of information. Filters. Flexes. Fake authority. A picture isn’t proof. Neither is a post. Be careful who you follow. Be intentional with what you absorb. I actually drove less than 5 minutes from my house in the lush green jungle to take these shots in an old quarry. Just wanted to mix it up. Stir the pot. Remind you to question & curate your feed on LinkedIn & in life. So tell me what’s real for you right now? Anyone that I must follow? 🤠

Sorry LinkedIn, I’ve got nothing more to share today. Gave all I have to give. Tomorrow’s a new day. Blessed rest beautiful souls 💫
