I was on a sales call with a HubSpot customer about 5 weeks ago.

Here’s how the conversation went:
HubSpot Customer: “In terms of skill sets, would this be strictly candidates with HubSpot experience?”
Me: “What else would you be looking for?”
HubSpot Customer: “Salesforce experience.”
Me: “Oh....so you’re using both HubSpot and Salesforce?”
HubSpot Customer: “Yes… but we think we may switch to Salesforce completely. They’re giving us a deal of a lifetime.”
Me: 😬

A deal of a lifetime, huh?

So I asked the uncomfortable questions:
➡️ Have you factored in migration costs?
➡️ What does Salesforce cost look like in year two?
➡️ Who’s actually going to manage and maintain the system once it’s live?

Silence.

Vendor discounts can be tempting. But switching platforms without understanding the long-term cost, complexity, and operational impact is where teams get burned.

I’ve seen it too many times:
 ➡️ Cheap year one
 ➡️ Expensive migration
 ➡️ No internal expertise
 ➡️ Painful adoption

Not on my watch 💪 

Before you rip out a system that’s working, make sure you’re looking beyond the “deal” and into the reality of what it takes to run it successfully.

Because the real cost usually shows up after the contract is signed.

Curious......what’s the most outlandish sales objection you’ve ever heard?

Here's mine: 
A couple of weeks ago, I reconnected with a prospect I originally met in person nearly 2.5 years ago.

He told me the reason he didn’t want to work with HubSearch:
“You didn’t give me butterflies.”

Let’s unpack that.
Strike one: I highly doubt this same feedback would be given to a male CEO.
Strike two: My job isn’t to give you feel good butterflies.

My job is to deliver elite HubSpot talent, high performers with deep experience and proven results.

I don’t sell feelings.
I deliver outcomes.
