It’s amorphous, “squishy.” You know it when you see it, but can you put it into words easily? Profit is the domain of business. Clear-cut. Specific and measurable. And yet. “I love these shoes.” “I love my new car.” “I love my sales rep.” We stretch our concept of love to include the world of commerce. “Love what you do and it will never feel like work.” We set goals beyond profit, and business finds room to welcome the language of love.
