Although logically, staying where you are makes absolute sense, you know 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗜𝗡 I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. I spent over two decades working across multiple industries in accounting, operations and commercial roles, climbing the corporate ladder and chasing success. (𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸) Even when I reached the senior leadership level, deep down, I felt empty and unhappy. I realised that I was living 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻. 𝗦𝗢 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗? That’s when I decided to make a change. I made a conscious choice to focus on me. Consuming podcasts, books and joining online groups. It was the connection with a life coach that cemented my passion for coaching.
