LLMs aren’t AI agents. Let’s clear that up. Too many people confuse the two. AI agents are not just chatbots. They operate autonomously. They make decisions They take action. LLMs generate. AI agents do. True AI agents have six traits 1. Autonomy - No hand-holding required. 2. Learning - They get better with experience. 3. Perception - They sense their environment. 4. Reactivity - They adapt to change in real time. 5. Decision-making - Not just answers, but actions. 6. Goal-driven - They chase outcomes, not prompts. If it doesn’t think, act, and adapt - it’s not an AI agent. It’s software that thinks, learns, and executes. Follow Charlie Hills. Repost to help others.
