I like brains, even artificial ones, but I'm not a zombie 🧟 A bit of humor and a smile are the best way to break the ice! 😄 Sorry for the bad joke, but after all, I am a geek: a data scientist/machine learning/artificial intelligence specialist. Also a PhD in Engineering, but under the hood I have the soul of a versatile, deeply passionate and enthusiast Mathematician, working mainly as mathematical modelist.🧑‍🏫 ✍️Taking everything into account, my experience with models and data adds up to a total of 10+ years, with experience from real brain modeling, to Natural Language Processing, a bit of Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, custom Reinforcement Learning and more! I look forward to widen my expertise. I am still an old fashioned scientist in my soul I am addicted to curiosity. I am strongly passionate and I care about results. I am fascinated by complex topics (like..brain?), therefore I developped strong analytical skills. I like thinking that my work, along others', matters. I also believe in humbleness and I am interested in criticism and opinions different than mine: they make me improve. My comfort zone is..being often out my comfort zone. I look for new better solutions. I am deeply creative (even math can be!) and I like to look at things from a different viewpoint: innovating makes me happy. Math and coding (currently mostly python, with frameworks and libraries related to data science, machine learning and deep learning), are my everyday life! I had to deal with a quite uncommon academic experience, by chance. Because of that, I had to create a new field of research during my PhD. ..turned out to be promising and opened the gates to the chance of a very quick carreer. But could not take the chance. I am stil grateful for this experience though: I had the chance to develop skills like: Early indepencence Extremely fast self-taught learning Quick but effective decision making Effective problem solving Doing the things I love but also what I don't like, if necessary No panic, planning activities and budget management even under pressure. I like jokes and I feel good working in team (also as team leader). I love meeting people from all over the world. I am used to deal with professionals with different expertises, I am able to build communication channels to share informations. ❤️I strongly believe in loving what we do and I believe that good job is made by happy people: that's what I look for. 👉Offer me something stimulating and working with people I get along.
