My story begins early career… I kept my head down building Excel investor reports & websites, pulling backend server data to interpret & translate to KPIs for e-commerce firms, optimizing sites, search results & campaigns. One day, a client made an offer I couldn’t refuse. In my bizdev role, I earned several promotions & awards and built my department’s first data mart, all in under 3 years. In 2015, I was hand-picked to rescue one of the firm’s marquis, Fortune 100 accounts. A mistake had been made. The client was so mad they took their business back out to market to compete. After I said yes to this hotseat, the opportunity of my career arrived. The success of a multiyear, multi-million-dollar BI + analytics platform investment was placed in MY lap. Outside the purview of my role, I chose to take this on. Yes, rescue & expand the account. And, now, be the 1st to implement the stack post launch. Just one problem. Ok, several... Nobody knew the tech because it was created in secret 🤫 Remember, the client was already mad 😡 Our competitors salivated after this business 👀 300-plus souls on the account had their livelihoods at stake 💰 Leaders internationally working together, in some cases, for the first time 😲 Oh, and my department lead had been a revolving door of 4 people in that seat during my tenure🚪 Talk about a risky venture! Very quickly, I learned the stack and how to partner on the journey to real-time insights... I drove international, asynchronous team collaboration & alignment… Set outcomes for & orchestrated all solutioning webinars… AND owned all deliverables… Which became the winning MSA… and THE playbook for how to solution across service lines and geographies. My passion had found me! I left a very comfortable trajectory & moved to Austin, Texas, the nexus of tech, innovation, live music, nature & weirdery.
