An EQ Maven who unlocks the key to your team's personalities and behaviours, revealing the underlying causes of burnout, overwhelm, and disempowering habits that may be holding organisations back. With my skills and knowledge, I aim to help your people develop greater emotional intelligence to navigate today’s fast-paced and uncertain world - for improved results, relationships, and resilience.

Unlike many other speakers and executive coaches, I'm privileged to have a significant understanding of the corporate environment, specifically with international and multinational corporations from 20 years of experience in the workforce - with 10 of those years immersed in working within a corporation – negotiating at the top level for high-value contracts in the travel and expense management industry. After that, I left my corporate role and spent the next 10 years as a Speaker, Trainer, and Executive Coach - working with luxury brands, sales organisations, as well as banking and financial institutions, including global names such as American Express, Citibank, S&P Global.

My passion to impact the lives of others arose from the struggles which I grappled with in my own life journey. As a self-confessed rebel, I was on the road to destruction at a young age of 23, battling near bankruptcy, addictions, and traumatic health issues that led to two major hip replacement surgeries with titanium implants.

My turnaround moment came when I found the courage to break through my blind spots and limitations that had shackled me since young. Known to have a huge dose of straight-up humour and authentic sharing, I aim to connect with my audience by peeling off their veneers of fear, self-doubt, and insecurity through powerful stories. 

I am a Certified Speaking Professional and commonly known as a Titanium Hipster. One of the other professional hats I wear includes my role as an Associate Director at Imageworks, a Singapore-based company.

𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 
There. I said it.

This was something I owned up to as I shared my heart for the book during our launch event.

For years - I was high functioning but secretly hating myself.
 
Perhaps you recognise this feeling, but you’re hiding it.

I did that too.

My ‘award-winning’ acting skills had hidden these demons away from others, including myself.

But eventually, the charade crumbled. My relationships were deteriorating. My career was tanking.

And everything seemed to stealing away the last sliver of respect I had for myself.

It took me years to realise I wasn’t just stuck -  I was trapped - under layers of 𝗕𝗦.

What’s a BS?

I see it as a toxic cocktail of 3 things:
 
🍸 Blind Spots – The things we can’t see about ourselves, but everyone else can.
 
🍸 Belief Systems – The invisible scripts running our lives that keep us caged.
 
🍸 Bull Stories – The excuses, the justifications, the stories we spin to avoid discomfort.

All of these took me down—a descent into addiction, near-bankruptcy, & traumatic health issues.

Writing InSide was like a surgery for the soul.

The book is a collection of failures, truths, & lessons about breaking through your BS so you can finally influence yourself—before you influence others from a place of truth.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀.

Tim Hamons our talented visual story-teller live-sketched the heart of our conversation, giving the audience a creative lens to reflect & connect.

I felt the room’s atmosphere shift as people started sharing their authentic experiences with each other – reconnecting through realness.

𝗦𝗼.. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿…?
Ever felt a sting from someone's description of you?
 
Someone asked if he could recommend me to his network as a 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳.
 
And I swear the hair on my back did a tiny Beyoncé fan-blow.
 
Soft skills? SOFT?

Here’s the thing.  
• I’m an Author.
• A Certified Speaking Professional. 
• An EQ maven who’s spent more than a decade helping leaders and teams influence themselves before they dare influence others.

There's NOTHING soft about that.

For a split second, my ego sprinted out like a toddler ready to throw hands.

My reflex was to rattle off my credentials like armour. Prove my worth. Remind this person I’m as hot as my last hit.

And then came the internal debate:

👿 Do I give this person the evolved version of me.. or the original version of me?

Let’s just say the OG version strutted out first. And I’m pretty sure it left a bitter aftertaste in the conversation.

That night left me reflecting.

😕 Why did that tiny comment trigger me so hard?

😖 Why did I overreact like that?

I realised that my ego took a hit - the kind that makes your inner five-year-old stomp her feet.

My personal BS detected – Falling back into old patterns and believing that my worth depended on titles, status, & external validation – when these things can be taken away with a snap of a finger.

And I know first-hand what its like to lose them all.

So here’s a reset. And a reminder to myself ….. 

𝗠𝘆 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲.

🌀 I’m a beloved child of God

🌀 I’m an animal lover

🌀 I’m funny, affectionate, and occasionally dramatic in the best possible Asian-woman-way.

And yes — I still fall into my personal pool of BS, because that’s part of being human.

That's the most liberating revelation I've had all week.

So here’s a question:

What’s the BS you still catch yourself stepping into?

Call it out. Clean it up. Correct it.
