How did I cross paths with this magical 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔?


I have been trying out numerous industries over the years, seeing what I like and what resonates with me.

When nothing truly did, I started realizing that I never felt true and deep satisfaction with the impact I was creating.

When COVID hit I stumbled upon the world of 𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙁-𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔, but simultaneously the fear of having to earn a living was prominent.

Rather than continuing to choose 𝙁𝙀𝘼𝙍, I leaned into my newfound ability of connecting deeply with others. Seeing and highlighting the 𝙃𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 in each one of us.

Fast forward to now and InSpirit has provided me a beautiful space to not only express myself, but make more of an impact than I ever could have imagined.

InSpirit has helped me understand what I was put on this Earth to do…

• Connected with contestants for an average of 8-10 promotional challenges to gauge interest, explain the promotion, sign waivers, and answer any questions

I was hired as 1 of 25 interns to head the promotional efforts for 1-2 of the 23 sporting programs within the University of Minnesota Athletic Department. The promotional efforts for each sport included: branding, advertising, pre-game events, in-game event presentation, and community engagement efforts. I led or supported the event experience at over 80 events in the 2 years.

• Oversaw video board promotions and operated in-arena music for Women's Hockey
• Created a positive first impression of the Gopher brand as first touch point for the customer upon entering venue
• Executed promotional efforts to engage with customers throughout the entire event experience
• Delegated clearly defined responsibilities to a team of 4-6 interns per event

• Developed a marketing plan to boost BTN's presence on the University of Minnesota campus with a $10,000 marketing and promotional budget
• Increased visibility of the BTN brand by executing 8 social media activations at Men's Basketball games

When you afford yourself the 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 to listen inward to the whispers already present, you are on your way back to yourself.

But how? 🤷‍♂️

Pillars that you will cultivate and will leave you with a sense of calm amidst the inevitable ebb and flow of life.

Each day I anchor myself in my pillars of 𝙈𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏, 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙉𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉, and 𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎.

These are my roots, and when I give them proper nurturing and care they help feed into the overarching lens of 𝘾𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙎𝙄𝙏𝙔 through which I lead my life.
