Hi, I'm Colette! I am obsessed with people success - helping humans grow their passion is exciting to me. Whether that's supporting a startup company, encouragement in corporate growth, advocating time for fitness and other mental health activities, and anything else that will help someone become the best version of themselves. I'm currently the Director of HR and Communications at Pomerol Partners, a business consulting firm specializing in data-driven solutions. I support the Partners as well as our consulting team in all their pursuits - it brings me a lot of joy to see them grow and reach their goals. I graduated from college with a hospitality degree and a desire to help people through hotel, event and food services. Seven years later, I desired a bit of change, and landed a job at a SaaS software company with zero technical experience but still the same enthusiasm for helping others. That started my tech journey and I'm forever thankful for the people at Benefitfocus who took a chance on me. I was able to then grow and refine my tech abilities into consulting and project management opportunities, and transition to remote working. After my second child, I took a career pause. Following that I jumped back in as a part time, contract Recruiter at Pomerol Partners, and the rest is history. It's been a wild ride, and I've enjoyed every minute of learning and refinement into the professional I am today. What they are building at Pomerol is special and it inspires me on a daily basis. I love working remotely, but not always at home. Quiet coffee shops and co-working spaces are my favorite office spots. I also love connecting with others on this platform and cheering on other moms through all their seasons - we are in on this together!
