They're a high AOV, low LTV brand (medical devices around $650).

Your first 90 days post-acquisition determine your profitability, yet most waste this period:

How to avoid this fate:

After analyzing dozens of DTC brands last year - from furniture stores to perfume companies - we discovered something shocking:

Far more lifetime value gets driven in the first 90 days than brands realize.

Doesn't matter if you're high-ticket or low-ticket. The pattern was consistent.

But here's what most brands do wrong:
→ They send one "thank you" email after purchase
→ Then go silent for months
→ Missing the most crucial revenue window

The brands printing money? They use a Sales Cycle Upsell flow:

Email 1: Drops in 7-10 days after order fulfillment
- Acknowledges their previous purchase
- Suggests complementary products
- No aggressive selling needed

Email 2: 7-10 days later
- "Get even more of what you love"
- Strong click rates despite minimal offers
- Builds on purchase momentum

Email 3: 10-14 days after that

Big mistake.

We split the flow based on cart value:
- Under $50 (no free shipping qualified)
- Over $50 (free shipping qualified)
