Just got a rejection from a dream job and I'm not devastated. The interviews went well, the entire team was full of great people, and the work was life changing. I am thankful I crossed paths with them and look forward to seeing their work in the future. 

I could envision myself working there, with the team, making change happen. It gave me hope and confidence for the future. But in the end, it was not meant to be. This hope I have is still around, and ready to tackle the next challenge. No burnout. No crying. 

As good as I felt after the last interview, I still had some doubt (thanks, anxiety). So I kept applying. Not even ten minutes after that rejection email, I got two more leads in my inbox. 

I took a walk in the sunshine, listened to some fun music, stayed hydrated, and was grateful for the things I do have, like my health. Sometimes, it's all about mindset.
