Daniel de Sant'anna Martins is a father, ludologist, futurist, designer, researcher, consultant educator. Master in Design (CESAR School), postgraduate in Strategic Design (ESPM) and graduated in Industrial Design (UNESA). CEO of D+1 Design & Jogos, specialized in developing ludocentric learning experiences, with a focus on promoting social impact and socio-emotional skills, through emotional or digital approaches. Winner of SBGames 2019 for Best Brazilian Boardgame (ToteMinions), winner of Festival Rebeldias 2021 (Não me Toca Seu Boboca) and 2020 (Rádio Pirata) in the Society Game category, finalist of the 38th Édition du Concours international de Créateurs of Jeux de Société de Boulogne-Billancourt, finalist of SBGames 2019-2022 and Festival Rebeldias 2019-2021. Worked as a freelancer and in agencies for almost 20 years, managing different teams and projects for national and international clients. Self-taught game designer, works since 2012 in the game development market and also in the educational context. He has designed game development courses throughout Brazil, and acted as an educator and pedagogical coordinator in large companies or educational projects, such as: École 42, Miami Ad School, CESAR School, NAVE, Escola SESC de Ensino Médio, Senac, Senai, Unigranrio, Estácio etc. In addition, coordinated and presented Rio Indie Games, the first independent game festival in Rio de Janeiro, and is part of the board of directors of EDIJ - Meeting of Independent Tabletop Games Developers RJ and member of RING - Rio de Janeiro Independent Game Developers.
