How to build your content strategy (in 5 simple steps) 1. Set the foundation Get clear on who you help, the result you deliver and how you make it happen. 2. Define your goals Decide if you're optimizing for growth, authority or leads (and know the trade-offs). 3. Build your funnel Balance TOFU (stories), MOFU (how-to’s) and BOFU (offers) to move people from awareness to action. 4. Stay on topic Filter every post through your core message and repeat it often to build trust and resonance. 5. Pick a format Go with a content type that plays to your strengths and resonates with the right people. "I post every week but nothing’s happening". That’s usually what founders tell me on the first call. And I get it. They’re active. They’re building. They’re sharing the journey. But their content isn’t converting. Because what they’re doing is (just) posting. → Not positioning Their feed is full of announcements, reflections and team photos.
