“You just need to be consistent.” Cool. So does a treadmill. Doesn’t mean it takes you anywhere. Let me guess. You’ve been posting. Maybe even commenting. Your profile is "okay-ish." But nothing’s moving. No DMs. No leads. No momentum. Here’s why: You’re speaking 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 - which means no one feels spoken to. Your profile looks decent - but not 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵. Your posts are helpful — but not 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵. Visibility is nice. But what you want is results. Clarity → Connection → Clients. Not fluff. Not vibes. Not viral. You don’t need more time on LinkedIn. You need more impact in less time. 𝗣.𝗦: What’s the one thing about LinkedIn that still confuses you?
I thought freedom meant doing everything alone. Turns out, asking for help changed my business. When I started working for myself, I wanted to prove I could do it all. Every little thing. Every hard thing. Alone. That was my idea of freedom. But after a while, I felt stuck. No energy. No clear plan. (I cringe when I look back at how stuck I felt.) Here is the truth: Freedom is not about doing everything alone. Freedom is giving yourself permission to ask for help. To say: “I need support. I cannot see my own blind spots.” On LinkedIn, you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. → You can have a guide who shows you the next step. → You can have someone who sees what you miss. → You can have a partner for your growth. I created the Power Hour because asking for help shouldn’t be hard. → One hour, only for you. → No fluff, no waiting. → Clear action steps to finally move forward. You get answers. You get clarity. You get support - without feeling lost or overwhelmed. Nobody is meant to walk this road alone. Not you. Not me. 💛 What does freedom mean for you? (No shame if your answer changed over time.) P.S. If you want to take the next step, my Power Hour is here for you. Link in the comments & on my profile 🫶
Some of you don’t need another LinkedIn tip. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. You don’t need: → Another freebie. → A checklist. → A new hook formula. You need to admit the truth: You’re scared to show up fully. You’re hiding behind “research” and perfectionism. You’re waiting for someone to hand you permission. Spoiler: That permission isn’t coming. Because no one else is going to tell your story. So post the thing. Say what you actually want to say. Stop tweaking the damn sentence for the 12th time. People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with clarity. With courage. With realness. You don’t have to be the loudest voice in the room. But make sure it’s your voice - not a watered-down version of someone else’s. P.S. What’s the post you’ve been too scared to publish?
Stop trying to sound smart. Start sounding like someone I’d actually trust. Your headline is a list of buzzwords. Your About section reads like a resume. Your content sounds like you swallowed a thesaurus. That’s not personal branding. If you want people to 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, work with you, refer you - you need to sound like a human being. ➞ Write how you talk. ➞ Make it make sense. ➞ Say things your clients actually 𝘴𝘢𝘺. Because no one’s impressed by “cross-functional synergies.” They just want to know how you help them - and why they should trust you. My own turning point? When I stopped trying to sound clever, I got more freedom. More real connections. More fun in my work. You don’t need to impress anyone with big words. You need to make sense. You need to be someone people remember for the right reasons. Here’s the rule I give all my clients: If your grandma wouldn’t get it, rewrite it. Clarity always wins. Pretending never does. Clarity converts. Pretending doesn’t. 𝗣.𝗦: What’s one word in your LinkedIn profile that makes 𝘺𝘰𝘶 cringe a little?
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲. 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁. Greece changed the rules - and I had to change my plans. Again. That’s part of vanlife, right? But I won’t lie: it’s exhausting sometimes. You research places, imagine routes, plan your days. And then? Something changes. A new law. A place feels off. Your gut says: not here. This week, that happened. I don't feel safe anymore. Not because of people - but because of a new law that made my usual way of living suddenly… illegal. It brought back the same question I ask myself often: ➝ Where do I really want to be? ➝ What does “freedom” mean to me now? ➝ And how much planning is even possible, when life on the road means constant change? Vanlife looks like freedom. And mostly, it is. But sometimes, it’s also standing in a new country, maps open, plans crumbling— and wondering where to go next. Not every post has an answer. This one doesn’t either. Just a reminder: if you feel a little lost sometimes, you’re not alone. 💛
"𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧." Cool. And I don’t use a washing machine. I handwash all my clothes in the river. 🫶 Can we please stop treating 𝘯𝘰𝘵 using AI like it’s a badge of honour? There’s nothing smart or noble about making your life harder than it has to be. Especially when the tool exists to make your content better, faster, clearer. Here’s what I 𝘥𝘰 believe in: → Don’t copy-paste AI content. That’s just lazy. → Don’t expect ChatGPT to understand you without training. That’s just naive. → Don’t be scared to experiment. That’s how you learn. The goal isn’t to sound like a robot. It’s to sound like 𝘺𝘰𝘶—but sharper, bolder, faster. 💡 According to Richard van der Blom’s LinkedIn Algorithm Report, the 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 were hybrid: AI + human. Not either/or. So let’s stop shaming people for using tools. Stop shaming people in general. Use the tools. Train them well. Then speak in a voice only 𝘺𝘰𝘶 have. P.S. What’s your take on ChatGPT? Are you secretly using it - or still in your AI-free era?
You work hard for every like. Every view. Every second of attention. But then something is missing. People visit your profile, then leave. No message. No DM. No interest. Here is why: → Your banner and headline do not say what you offer or for whom. → Your About section talks about 𝗬𝗢𝗨, not your reader. → Your link is clever, but not clear. Let’s fix that. → Banner & Headline: Make it simple. Say what you do. Say who it’s for. → About section: Show that you see your reader. Show you get their problem. Show how you help. → Link: Make it clear. People want easy, not guessing games. Your profile is your stage. Your offer. Your first impression. People will not do detective work. They want answers. Fast. Ask yourself: → Would I work with me after reading my profile? → Is it clear what I offer? → Is my next step obvious? If not, time for a change. Your profile is not a CV. It is not your life story. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲. Ready to make your profile work for you? P.S. If you want hands-on help, my Power Hour is open.
Nobody cares about your job titles from 2009. Let’s be real for a second. When was the last time you scrolled through LinkedIn, saw “CEO | Founder | Visionary” in someone’s headline, and thought, “Wow, I need to connect with this person!”? I never have. Not once. People come to your profile because they want answers: → What do you do? → Who is it for? → Why should they care at all? But what do most profiles look like? 🚩 Headlines full of empty titles. 🚩 Featured sections with random posts and old PDFs. 🚩 About sections so dry, they could be corporate obituaries. No feeling. No clarity. No reason to stick around. (Ouch, I know.) If your profile doesn’t make people feel something, they’ll bounce. Fast. Here’s what actually works: → Write a headline that says who you help and how. Be bold. Be clear. → Stick to ONE clear offer. (Not six. Not “maybe this, maybe that.”) → Use simple, human language. Sound like you’re talking to a person. Because you’re 𝗻𝗼𝘁 on LinkedIn for the vibes. You’re here to get seen, get trusted, and get clients. That only happens when your profile makes sense - at a glance. I see it every day in my 1:1 coaching. The second we cut the fluff and get real, profiles start to work. People reach out. Opportunities come in. P.S.: What’s the weakest part of your profile right now? Be honest - sometimes it’s the About section, sometimes it’s the headline. Where do you struggle most? 👀
You don’t need another template. You need a spine. I’ve seen enough of it lately. Everyone sounds the same. Same “Here’s how I got 7 clients in 5 days” formula. Same 4-sentence story structure. Same watered-down fluff disguised as authority. Here’s a reality check: → Your audience doesn’t want another LinkedIn copybot. → They want YOU. → And they can smell fake from a mile away. Stop regurgitating frameworks. Stop trying to sound like the most successful person in your niche. Say what you actually think. Tell the story only 𝘺𝘰𝘶 can tell. Let your voice be louder than your strategy. People don’t follow you for being “correct.” They follow you for being 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘥, and 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯. 𝗣.𝗦: The most magnetic thing about your brand is the part you’re scared to share. 𝗣.𝗣.𝗦: What’s one opinion you’ve been too afraid to post? 👀 (It’s probably the one you 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 post.)
