The "About" section of LinkedIn has gotta be one of the trickiest copy asks going Do you go for the gravitas vibe, and take the opportunity to say that you’ve worked for some of the biggest brands on the planet in some of the biggest award winning agencies going. Or does it play better to talk about the rich tapestry of life’s experiences you’ve had, and muse wistfully about what you’ve learnt while teaching English for disadvantaged kids in South America, or worked in a Tuscan publishing company, but then run a very real risk of sounding a little bit on the pretentious side? Or, is it best just to say its kinda a bit of all of that, mixed in with a few poor life decisions, and some decent ones, that have you to where you are right here, right now, Which is in the enviable position of working and supporting some of the most talented people and teams going. All delivered through the power of brand. Because whatever road my life and career has taken me down, one thing that has stayed constant and kept me lit-me up continually, and that is bright, talented people. How to bring the best out of them, how to engage them and how to elevate them to new heights. Because whatever business you’re in, you’re in the people business.
