		• Managing a varied team of permanent staff which includes various Project Managers, 			principal engineers, senior IT engineers, IT engineers, senior communications engineers, 			audio-visual engineers, installation engineers and various on-site and off-site contractors
		• 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support on MAC, PC & Linux
• Server Management on MAC, PC, Linux, and VMware
• Managing  24/7 Shift rota - Engineer on call
• Open Directory (MAC) & Active Directory (PC) 
• Troubleshooting all aspects of all Companies, network, desktop and      
  Telecommunications; PC, MAC & Linux
• Team appraisals, budget reporting, and recruitment of contract staff as needed
		• Teaching one-to-one/groups on PCs and Macs
		• Negotiating SLAs for third-party installations/support/upgrades
		• Negotiating telecommunications and hardware/software purchases
		• Project managing multiple IT/Security/VSAT/TVRO/AV/Comms projects/Installations                
                           at various locations over the Globe
		• Domain management - Maintain 150 email systems for various customers located                 
                           all around the Globe

The company is an international events organiser and magazine publishers based in Dorking, Surrey. I reported to the CEO and was responsible for all IT and Telecommunications purchasing/budgeting, installations, support and upgrades. In addition, I was responsible for:
• Managing a team of five permanent (one web administration, two desktop support, one network admin and one database) and up to seven various on- and off-site contractors;
• Managing Help Desk – Track-It
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support on MAC, PC & Linux
