Freelance Copywriter

1 Million Cups Albany

As a volunteer organizer for 1 Million Cups, I help connect, empower, and grow the entrepreneurship community in the Capital Region. 

As the marketing lead for 1MC's division here in Albany, my responsibly is focused around increasing the attention and engagement of the 1MC community through their email and social media channels. 

Our core focus is centered around promoting diversity, equity, & inclusion within our community, with the goal of empowering entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and connections necessary to break down barriers that stand in the way of their success.

Organizer - Marketing Lead

Wurth USA

As the District Key Account Manager, I assisted Wurth's local territory managers across NYS to acquire and grow high volume and multi-location accounts. 

Working with Wurth's regional and national OE partners, my focus was positioning Wurth as the primary industrial supplier for their locations and offices across NYS.

District Key Account Manager

As a Territory Sales Manager, I was responsible for building the Albany NY market from 80k to 500k in annual sales within 3 years. 

Through new business acquisition and organically growing existing accounts, my vision was to create Wurth USA as the predominant source for industrial supplies for automotive dealerships and collision centers in the Capital Region.

In addition, I was also responsible for managing the local collision estimating software (CCC) and OE integration with Wurth’s custom SIS software (SaaS) - used in the collision industry to create customized invoices for material billing.

In 2012, I created an eco friendly chemical distribution company serving the craft brewing industry. We were responsible for servicing 150 breweries.

To position the company as a premier vendor in the market, We partnered with top industry suppliers of eco friendly cleaning products, beer stabilizers, and brewery equipment to support local and regional craft breweries across NYS and the greater NE area.

As an Account Manager covering New York and New Jersey, I built and managed a book of business that included pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and industrial manufactures - from mid size to Fortune 500 - driving multiple MM in annual sales. 

I provided regular guidance to my clients in selecting the best packaging and labeling solutions to meet their product marketing needs, goals, and objectives.

In 2010, I created an e-commerce company that supplied DME and support products to the disabled and elderly. Our product line serviced 3 industry's with 50,000 unique products. 

Creating a strategy to give back was an important core value, so I sought out and partnered with the PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America). 

As an affiliate member to the PVA, we supported their mission by offering our product lines to their 12,000 + member veterans, with 10% of all purchases going back into PVA supported programs and initiatives.

Albany Business Review

The Business Review is the leading source for business news and information around the Capital Region of New York.

My role in Audience Development was to connect with businesses, organizations, and institutions throughout the region and educate them on The Business Review. 

Through sales calls and seminars, I would show organization/business leaders how to use it's content to better understand our business climate and how to use the information to enhance their decisions and find new opportunities for growth.

I also created/published a weekly cartoon for the BR called, Life of a Salesman.
