•	Leading a Cisco direct field sales team covering the US Civilian Federal market.  Managed, hired, fired and developed team of Sales Engineers and Account Managers. Led transformational team development to new sales model and sales strategies.  Utilizing active Ethernet, cloud, collaboration, data center, wireless, telework, XaaS, mobility and other key solution architectures and solutions helped optimize our teams performance in capturing business by going after business driven solutions with customer agencies.  Helped team to reach outside of traditional IT decision makers.  Interacted at an executive level with customer CxOs as well as technical audiences.  Worked with various advanced technology overlay teams internally as well as with our solution and integration partners and advanced services teams to maximize impact of game changing solutions. Systems Engineering Manager

•	Taking over the position from formerly separate engineering and sales managers led the US Federal Cisco Ironport team.  This was on top of my normal Consulting System Engineering responsibilities.
•	Led the team through integration and overcoming FIPS and Common Criteria standards needs to win the largest deal in Cisco Ironport history email security deal with the US Army as well as the standardization on the Cisco Ironport ESA within the US DoD Defense Information Systems Agency. 
•	Led the integration of the newly acquired Cisco Ironport Federal CSEs and Product Sales Specialists into the US Federal Advanced Technology Security team.  Mentored, developed and expanded my engineer’s skill sets to include the full product suite and initializing their knowledge set in Cisco’s network security product lines.  Hired two new additional CSEs from the targeted competitor from within their US Federal Teams.  Organized and coordinated off-site training courses for my team and on-site training courses for our partners, Cisco network security individuals. Stacked ranked my individuals, worked on their EPMs, ran the interview process and hiring and on-ramping of two new team members.  Justified and gave out capital awards to team members.  Worked on routine and corrective development plans.

Team Lead, Consulting Systems Engineering

US Federal Advanced Technology Security.
•	A Consulting System Engineer to Cisco’s top ranked and 11th ranked Security Product Sales Specialists on one of the top producing Advanced Technology Security Teams.
•	Architected and assisted in the sale of the two largest Network Admission Control (NAC) deals in company history (FBI and DHS).  As a part of the Federal AT Security Team responsible for US Federal Regulatory & Homeland Security accounts.
•	Part of the Federal Regulations Working Group – Working on Presidential Directive 54, MTIPS and TIC initiatives as well as ramping up on the Cybersecurity Act of 2009.
•	Working in an emergency capacity assisted the White House during the Obama Elect GSA Presidential Transition Team by utilizing Cisco NAC to dynamically divide, secure, assess and remediate endpoints and isolate network segments.

Consulting Sytems Engineer

•	Awarded Cisco’s Top Security Engineer for all of US-Canada FY 2008.
•	System Engineer to Cisco’s #1 ranked Security PSS and #2 ranked all advanced technology Product Sales Specialists.
•	As a part of the HQ reporting Cisco NAC overlay team grew business from 500 to 3700 customers in a year and a half.  Was the PSS/SE team covering all Federal (US and internationally located), Global Financials and all accounts in the New York to Virginia geography.  Overlay to over 600 Cisco sales teams.  Was involved in all aspects of sales and engineering focused pre and post-sales meetings in all capacities from executive through technical levels.
