Imagine you're a CEO or Founder. You're building a successful career and consistently bringing excellent client results. But you're fairly new to social media, you mainly built your biz empire offline, through events, referrals and cold outreaches. You're an expert and a leader, but your online presence doesn't give you justice. Even if you have followers and some engagement your content doesn't get you high-ticket clients and doesn't seem to attract the right people. If this sounds familiar, I can help. Through storytelling and content, I managed to turn my consulting side hustle into full-time from LinkedIn after only 3 months after starting. Combining my experience working in marketing and sales within Meta and Pinterest with my passion for storytelling and content creation, I grew a community of 30,000 on social media in ~10 months 100% organically, built a consulting business on my own from scratch, and built authority. 💰Now I teach others how to get similar results and monetize their audience with proven systems. 💰With an average of 700K-1.1M monthly views, I help brands and products get more exposure and traffic through sponsored posts ➡️ DM “Partner” if interested Some clients highlights: 🔥a business owner started to attract inbound opportunities (including a job offer) within the first week of working together on their profile and marketing strategy. 🔥 Agency Founder brought 2 high-ticket clients from LinkedIn within the first two strategic sessions. 🔥Business Strategist reduced their time on LinkedIn from +4 hours to +35 min daily while getting more results out of it following my systems. 🔥Bestseller author and Founder got new speaking gigs from LinkedIn within 3 weeks of working together on their networking and engagement strategies. Other facts about me: ✅ Featured and ranked 2# on LinkedIn Sales Stars 2021 ✅ Ranking on Favikon, Spring 2023: - 37th on Marketing & Sales LinkedIn Worldwide - 57th Female LI Content Creator Worldwide - 22nd Personal Branding & Audience Building Worldwide - Top 1 for personal branding in Italy, top 20 for LinkedIn ✅ Grown a community of 30K on LinkedIn in <10 months of intentional work ✅ Reached 700K-1M monthly content views and 1% SSI. ✅ Monetised my online presence in < 4 months of creating content intentionally. This is one of the worst things you can do as an ambitious overachiever (and I learned it the hard way...): Keep working on building your future Neglecting your present And the people around you. Being ambitious and dreaming big is great. BUT don't forget to have a rich life NOW. Get a fulfilled life now. Yes, you can have both. You can work on your plans and still feel alive. I am the living proof. Time will pass anyway. Don't lose yourself in the process. You need those memories. Create them. Your present Self needs You to be present. And your future Self will thank you. 6 facts about me that don’t match my appearance: 1. I’m an entrepreneur and I’m building a business by myself, over 2 years in, and have people working for me, I’m not just sipping cocktails on yachts. 2. I’m proud of my education. I have a background in Finance and a Master’s Degree in business and marketing in top business schools. 3. I value integrity and substance more than surface-level traits, even if I do care about appearance and I am not afraid of admitting it. It makes your life easier. 4. Even if I always look happy and successful, my business has highs and lows (like everyone else even if you don’t see it) 5. I am not always on holiday, but I’m figuring out where I belong and working hard. My clients are a priority and they know. 6. I speak 5 languages and have lived in 9 countries so far during my 20s What are some facts people wouldn’t guess about you?
I know you don’t expect this from me but.. I want you to feel a little scared. Yep. And you know why? Because if you’re not at least a bit scared and uncomfortable you’re not going to grow. As cheesy as it sounds, you won’t change for the better by keeping your status quo. That’s a fact. And changing your status quo DOES imply risk. Make it calculated and you’ll be fine. Regardless of the outcome. You’ll be closer to your goals. Being scared of how people can perceive you online. Being scared of making mistakes and feeling judged. Being scared of not getting attention and being ignored. Being scared of putting in the work and not getting results. Being scared of investing time and money and get disappointed. All these fears are legit and real. Being scared is okay. What is not okay is using these fears to avoid doing something you WANT to do. What is not okay is to be your own enemy and sabotage your potential. If you’re scared it means there is some risk involved. If there is risk involved it means you’re stepping out of your comfort zone. If you’re stepping out of your comfort zone it means you’re probably learning. If you’re learning you’re growing. Growth doesn’t come from comfort. Sooooo time to finally start giving a chance on yourself and growing your online presence? What do you say? 🙃
If you don’t build your life by design, you’ll do it by default. Whether you like it or not, it’s all about the choices you make. From what you eat to how you spend your time. Building your personal brand is not an exception. It’s a choice. You can build it by design, intentionally, making your brand work for you. Or by default, not intentionally, without a clear direction, like a guessing game. You can be proactive and make clear what you stand for. Or do it passively, confusing yourself and your audience. What do you choose? PS. 📸 from my latest campaign for Wavebreaker (Hilton Hotels)
I overthought for years before moving from passive user to active content creator. I was freaking scared. That fear was holding me back. I was worried about former colleagues seeing my posts. My family questioning my choices. My friends making fun of my content. The thought of putting myself out there made me cringe (it still does sometimes). But then I started asking myself: Are these people living your life? Are they paying your bills? Are they building your future? The reality is, most people are too focused on their own journey to notice yours. Those who judge you are often the ones too scared to take action themselves. While you're worried about what others think, opportunities are passing you by. Potential clients aren't finding you. Your expertise remains hidden. Your impact stays limited. Stop letting imaginary judgments hold you back from real growth. Start small, but start now. Share your knowledge. Build your presence. Own your space. Ever overthought content?
Monday thought: Your environment plays the biggest role in your success. Make sure it supports your growth, not limiting it. Since I moved to Dubai my outlook towards life is getting more and more positive. I am deeply in love with my lifestyle and keep my circle small. And that’s not a coincidence. I see the drive here. The resilience. The ambition. 4 months in and I am so happy about having ignored everyone telling me it was too expensive, or impossible to do for someone like me.
A struggle I didn't expect to face when growing my business: dealing with trust issues after being burned by agencies and consultants in the past. It's hard to open up again when you've invested time, money, and trust only to be disappointed. I see many business owners going through the same pain: - Promises that were never delivered - Time wasted on endless meetings - Money spent with zero ROI - Projects that went nowhere The fear of making the same mistakes again keeps you stuck, making you question every potential partnership. But staying in this protective shell means missing out on opportunities that could transform your business. The key is not to close yourself off completely, but to: - Ask for references - Do thorough research - Trust your gut feeling - Set clear expectations - Start with smaller projects Building trust takes time, and it's okay to be cautious. Remember: past experiences shaped you, but they shouldn't define your future business relationships. Take small steps. The right partners are out there. You'll be surprised.
"I am camera phobic" I repeated it so many times in my head that I started to believe it. Until I challenged myself and one day I casually shared a picture of myself along with my written content. I started sharing real stories and being myself. Over 1M views within one week. Thousands of new followers. New business opportunities. One new side hustle. 5 relevant job offers. Then again, I shared my first video. Positive responses. 61,000 views. New gigs. Then again, I started to run live events. 400-600 attendees paying attention to what I had to say. New clients interested in my offers. In January I moved to Dubai and accidentally started a parallel career as a model. I acknowledged the power of showing up as myself and stopped hiding. Turned out that my insecurities were limiting my potential. My misbeliefs were limiting my growth. But how did I change it? I started challenging them. Everyday. I worked on changing the narrative in my mind. And becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable. One day at a time. Asking myself: Is this story backed up by evidence and data OR is it made up by my mind to "keep me safe" and confirm previous schemas I created? Challenge your stories and misbeliefs about yourself. Seek evidence and facts. You can achieve more than you think. #personalbranding #linkedincreators 📍In old Dubai shooting for an Indian clothing brand
Wanting to do something means nothing if it’s not followed through real actions. Take building your personal brand online as an example. Ask yourself: If I actually want to achieve this, what is stopping me from doing it? Then you have your real answers and you stop lying to yourself. You don’t know how. You are scared of looking stupid. You find it overwhelming and scary. You are scared of failing and not starting at all prevents you from failing (disclaimer: you failed if you don’t even try) It’s really like saying “oh, I want to lose weight, but I am not ready” “One day I will start eating healthier and on a deficit and I will move more” And that day never comes and your confidence goes down because you keep reinforcing the belief that your word doesn’t matter and you cannot trust yourself. Want to do something? Remove the obstacles. Get a plan and work on it. Need help with this? Drop me a DM
Your job is not to get liked by everyone. This is something most people forget about content creation. If your goal is monetizing your online presence, getting clients, customers or even attracting talent or investors from your LinkedIn for example You need to stop trying so hard to be *generally likeable* Because if you stand for everything you’re in fact standing for nothing. So be OKAY with having haters. Be OKAY with disagreements. Be OKAY with being unfollowed. Be OKAY with being ignored by some people. Will it still feel like rejection? Yes, that is normal. But it's time to reframe this. Not everything is for you. Not everyone is supposed to be in your tribe. Not everyone is supposed to resonate with your content. That’s how it SHOULD BE. Free yourself. Thank me later. Ever felt the need to put yourself into a box to avoid feeling rejected by someone?
LinkedIn has changed. Your corporate content is no longer working. People are getting bored faster and have a shorter attention span. Even if you work in a regulated industry and some information is sensitive and cannot be shared it doesn’t mean that you cannot build a personal brand online. Yes, I said it. You know it’s just an excuse. You can still share your experiences, what you stand for and have a voice online. Sure, what used to work before doesn’t work anymore. That’s where adaptation and experimentation come in. Observe what works now. Talk to people who know. Test more. You never know what saying yes to something new can lead to.
To monetise your online presence you just need to be pretty. Pretty controversial. Pretty predictable. Pretty consistent. Pretty confident. Pretty credible. Pretty popular. Pretty clear. Pretty strategic. Pretty coachable. Pretty intentional. Pretty risk-taking. Pretty good at sales. Pretty open to rejection. That’s *pretty* simple. ~ Shooting by Myriam @ hollywood studio, Dubai
The biggest shift you can make to win on social media: Make your content less selfish. Instead of the typical: “I am humble to announce I won xyz” Use a storytelling approach and add some takeaway or message that can resonate with your audience. Share what helped you getting there or something you learned from the experience. Remember: there is always someone who can learn from you so take the opportunity to share insights and be helpful. Sometimes a simple post can shift someone’s perspective and make a real impact. Making someone’s day. Even silently. You’ll be surprised, give it a try. PS. First selfie in several months now… are they still in here? 👀 📍Abu Dhabi
“Talk about one thing” This is a concept that most people get wrong Because it sounds limiting, ain’t it? It is. You’re more than this. You’re amultidimensional human and rich person No need to talk about one thing only. Instead, build STRONG ASSOCIATIONS WITH A FEW TOPICS. No need to put yourself into a box. Let me give you an example. I have a client who is a VERY SUCCESSFUL family-oriented entrepreneur leading multiple businesses. Like many of you reading my content. For him we write about: Leadership Mindset for success Business Growth Entrepreneurship Work life integration What are YOUR topics? PS. Given the high demand, I am reopening a couple of slots for one-off strategy sessions to help you set the direction, make a plan and get you unstuck. Or discuss anything related to your marketing, building authority online and getting attention from the right audience without ads. Drop me a DM "Strategy" and I'll send you the booking link.
Here's something I have learned over the last 4 months: You cannot grow and get to the next level if you keep following the same patterns that keep you stuck. What brought you where you are now will not be the same thing that will make you level up. The same situation will present itself in different ways until you finally learn the lesson: Either making some REAL changes OR changing your mindset around it. It's not supposed to be easy and comfortable. Real growth requires a new version of you.
This is something I struggled to do in the past: Accept that you’ll be the villain in someone’ story. Regardless of how good you are as a person Regardless of how much you changed over time Not everyone can see the growth in others. Some people will be stuck with a version of you you’re not (or not longer), even if you’ve changed in the meantime. Not everyone will be able to SEE you as you are. Some people will project their insecurities and filter things out. Not everyone has the tools to handle confrontation and have hard conversations. Some people are used to avoid addressing the elephant in the room and have poor communication skills. So stop trying so hard to control everything. How people feel about you is out of your control. You don’t have control over it. If you have control over you want to be now. So focus on yourself and your present. Acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them. Improve as a person and get better every day. Accept that you will inevitably be a villain in someone’ story. As Mel Robbins would say “let them” be and free yourself.
We are terrified of being judged, looking cringy or embarrassing ourselves because we deeply care what others think. That fear of rejection makes us feel vulnerable and helpless. But you know what's even more dangerous than feeling judged and temporarily uncomfortable? Being afraid to show up authentically because your happiness depends on other people's opinions. The problem isn't the fear itself, but what we do about it. We let this feeling control our lives. We filter our words, don't take enough risks, and don't put ourselves out there. We try so hard to fit into a box. All because we want to appear perfect in the eyes of others. But here is the truth: No one cares.. Everyone is too busy thinking about themselves. They'll forget about your "embarrassing moment" in the next 5 minutes. So stop giving people so much power over how you feel and act. Focus on YOUR journey. YOUR message. YOUR goals. And don't forget to have fun along the way _ Hi, I'm Debbie and I help you build authority online and get business through buyer psychology and targeted content
The most common reason why everyone around you is killing it and you have ups and downs: Your perspective is distorted. You don’t see the full picture. You only see what is visible and shown to you. Remember: people only show you what they want you to see. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing better than you think. Here's me in a yacht I could pretend it's mine (it's not) (Yup this is a repost but always a good reminder )
Hi I’m Debbie and I’m a 20-something year old girl living in Dubai but I am not an escort. I don’t have an OF either. But I cannot tell aloud I am a content creator without being misunderstood. Crazy I know. “All girls who are living in Dubai do that and are fake.” I was told. Now. I have been living here for 3 months and.. There are A LOT of fake people and girls with careers that don’t align with my values.. BUT not everybody is like that. I have met some of the most inspiring people here. Powerful women with respectful careers, making tons of money on their own without any external support and inspiring ambitions. Women like my new bestie Soraya Zidane who brought me to a killer fitness class this week. (Go follow her) If that’s something I learned this quarter is this: Take everything you’re told with a pinch of salt. Stop generalizing and keep an abundance mindset. Get rid of that black-and-white mentality. Everyone shares opinions based on their own experiences. Make your own experiences before jumping to conclusions. Thank me later ❤️
You don’t need an audience now. This is exactly why it makes sense for you to start building it now. Not when you are desperate to sell or running out of time. But when you can afford to mess up, make mistakes and take it easy. Don’t overcomplicate it. It’s not that deep. Have fun with it.
