Confession: I haven’t posted on LinkedIn in a while.

Not because I had nothing to say.
But because I needed space.

Space to live. To think.
To be with my work, off the grid.

And honestly? It felt GOOD.

Real presence doesn’t always look like visibility.

Sometimes, it looks like going quiet to reconnect.

→ To realign.
→ To recalibrate.
→ To come back refreshed.

The words land differently when they come from TRUTH. 🫶

The message hits deeper when it’s lived.
If you’ve been quiet too, it’s okay.

You’re allowed to pause, and still matter.

If you’re afraid to sell it, don’t expect me to be excited to buy it.

A Tuesday morning.
Third call with a new client.
An ex-senior exec, sharp mind.
We’ve just launched her new business.

“I sent 60 emails,” she says. “No response.”

I smile.
I’m not surprised.

We look at her deck.
25 slides. 4 fonts.
Multiple colors.
Overwhelming. Soulless.

She asks me,
“How do you sell then?”

So I ask:
“Why do you WANT to do what you do?”

Her face hardens.

“I want to shift AI perception. But I hate selling…And messaging people feels like a waste of time.”

I pause. That’s the hick.

“Selling is caring”, I said.

“It’s solving a REAL problem for someone who don’t even know they need your help.”

If you’re not excited to talk about what you do…don’t expect your audience to care.

The energy shifts.
Something clicks.
She smiles.

“You don’t have to love selling.
But you do need to love HELPING.”

When your message is clear,
You don’t need a 25 slides deck.

Pick music that makes your whole body light up before your first coffee.

I’ve been watching mine daily.

Until I really feel it.

I wanted to gatekeep this so bad… but I have to share it.
( How I landed a client by ditching my elevator pitch.)

Here’s what happened.

We were at a wedding in Spain.
Everyone was introducing themselves.

When it got to me, I was ready.
Polished. Clear. Precise:

“I help leaders grow a heart-led business and scale with ease, while staying true to themselves.”

He squinted.

“I don’t get it.”

I tried again.

Still: “I don’t get it.”

By now… I was really frustrated.😤

So I smiled and said:

“I’m a marketer. I turn leaders into brands people can’t stop buying from.”

His face lit up.

“Oh! I’m a lawyer. I help people not lose all their money when they divorce.”

We both laughed.

By dessert, he told me he wanted to work together.

Sometimes, the perfect pitch works.
Sometimes… it’s the wrong language for the room.

You don’t need to have the exact same elevator pitch every time…
…but you do need to consistently sell the same transformation.

The real skill?

Knowing when to throw it out and meet people where they are.

Here are 3 things I do to protect mine:

1.	Sacred White Space
One day completely offline.
Not for “rest.”
For strategy.
Every breakthrough idea I’ve had 
Came when I wasn’t “working.”

2.	Environment = Performance
I rotate where I work.
Nature → clarity.
Cafés → momentum.
Luxury spaces → bold vision.
Changing environments collapses timelines.

3.	Energy Batching
I don’t batch tasks.
I batch by rhythms.
Creative work during peak flow.
Admin when my body dips.
Calls when I feel magnetic.

The result?
Faster execution.
Sharper decisions.
Growth without burnout.

Here’s the reminder most leaders need:

Availability ≠ leadership.
Energy = growth.

Protect it like revenue depends on it.
Because it does.

When people ask me, I don’t list services.
I give them a sentence they can feel.
