I grew up t’north, and many would say I am the stereotypical northerner in my approach to life. Straightforward, friendly, and down to earth, I would have gravy with most meals if they’d let me! Don’t be fooled by the neutral(ish) accent! My strong work ethic has been key to my success, and I am motivated daily by my desire to get things done. Integrity, trust, and kindness are my core values. I am a coach & mediator; past colleagues have described me as positive, collaborative, and conscientious. I am known for being calm and focused, which is down to my love of aromatherapy and yoga; I am now a 330-hour Yoga Alliance-qualified yoga teacher. I love all things food, from reading to cooking to eating, and I own at least 70 cookery books. I read them like novels from cover to cover. My driver for working hard is to allow me to jet off as often as possible; some of my favourite destinations include New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, and various parts of Europe; my most loved spots include Croatia, Portugal & France. I thrive on change and enjoy new challenges, so much so that I have leapt into the world of the HR Interim! I have a robust project mentality and can define powerful strategies, achieve results and question the status quo with good intentions. I love nothing more than tackling complex problems lacking obvious answers.
