Here's what I wish I learned sooner: 

The thing you're most insecure about is probably your greatest gift.

I was wrapping up a coaching session when my client said:

"You know why I hired you? Because within 5 minutes, I knew I could tell you anything."

I sat there, stunned.

For years, I'd tried to be tougher. 

More corporate. More "executive."

I thought my soft nature was holding me back.

I'd watch other coaches... bold, loud, polished...  and think: 

"That's what success looks like."

But here was this incredibly successful leader telling me the opposite.

She didn't want someone to call her out aggressively.

She wanted someone who made her feel safe enough to be honest.

Over the next few months, I heard it again. And again.

"I feel safe and more inspired every session." 
"I know you won't judge me." 
"Your compassion lets me go deeper."

My coach once told me:  

"Everyone is searching for the conscious parent they never had."

It finally made sense.

Some people need fire. Others need water.

The lesson I wish I'd learned sooner:

Building your magical life is a lot like Chutes and Ladders.

You roll the dice. Move forward a few spaces. Land on a ladder.

YES! You're climbing fast... making huge progress. You can feel the momentum building.

Then your next roll? Straight into a chute.

And you slide allllll the way back down.

Ugh! Frustrating. Disorienting. Makes you want to flip the board over.

But you keep going.

A few more rolls. Tiny steps forward. Nothing dramatic.

And then... right when you're about to give up... you hit another ladder.

This time you shoot past where you were before. Even higher.

You're SO close to the end now! You can practically taste it!!

And then... yep. Another chute.

Here's the thing though:

That's what makes getting there actually mean something.

Winning without any struggle wouldn't feel like winning at all.

If you think you’re lazy or burned out, read this:

I’m staring at my laptop. Cursor blinking. 

To-do list full. And I can’t make myself do a single thing.

What is wrong with me?

I look at other peers showing up every day wishing I was more ambitious. 

I convince myself I’m LAZY. 

But here’s what I didn’t know then: 

I was in misalignment burnout.

There’s a difference between not wanting to work and feeling disconnected from WHAT you’re working toward.

✨When you don’t have a clear direction

✨ or what you’re doing is not aligned with your purpose and values

EVERYTHING feels heavy and draining. 😮‍💨

Think about it: Imagine packing for a trip without knowing where you’re going.

You’d stand in front of your closet, paralyzed. Swimsuit or snow boots?

But the second someone says “We’re going to the beach!” you suddenly know exactly what to grab. 

That spark comes back… especially if you love the beach.

That’s what clarity and alignment does.

When I finally paused and got honest about my truest desire and purpose

(coaching women through misalignment burnout so they can step back into alignment with clarity and confidence) 

everything instantly shifted. 

I got more done in 2 DAYS!! than I did 2 months. 

Not because I suddenly became disciplined or motivated overnight. 

But because I was finally back in alignment, and alignment creates flow.

You’re not lazy. You’re just waiting on clarity.

One of my clients hated supply chain.

 She picked her major because her parents said it was “safe.”

She landed a job at a top firm, but every Sunday came with dread… 

followed by guilt for not appreciating a “good” opportunity.

In one of our calls, I asked when she last felt most alive… she lit up talking about dance.

 She hadn’t picked up her ballet shoes since college.

So she didn’t quit her job.

 She made one small commitment: join a local dance studio.

And her spark came back.

 Her soul was lit up.

 Instead of feeling drained, she showed up to work more energized, creative, 

and even started getting better feedback from her boss.

She didn’t need to make dancing her full-time job…

she just needed to let the dancer inside her express.

✨ Sometimes nothing in your external world has to change for EVERYTHING to change.

Most people get stuck because they’re chasing what looks impressive instead of what feels authentic.

You don’t need a 5-year plan or a perfect destination.

 You just need an aligned direction…

and the trust that it will reveal your next step toward a magical life.

Quitting your job is not going to solve your burnout.

After coaching 1,000+ clients, I have heard the deepest concerns and anxious thoughts so many of us hold inside in shame.

What I've learned is these fears and worries are universal + oh-so-common.

AND through my journey of healing and learning from my own coaches and teachers, I've learned:

✨ so much of our thoughts and beliefs are subconsciously wired and conditioned from a very young age, and need updating.

✨ our brains are wired to focus on worst case scenario and survival, so it is in our nervous system that we need to calibrate for best case and thriving.

✨ when we just focus on slapping positive thoughts, we spiritually bypass and move into toxic positivity

✨ we must release so much of the shame, anger, sadness, fear, guilt so we can increase our capacity for joy, success, abundance, happiness, love, peace.
