I have been creating excellence in Biomedical Engineering Leadership for over 19 years. As a Chief Engineer at Advanced Technology Company based in Kuwait, I am leading a wide cross-section of biomedical equipment ranging from Molecular Imaging Computer Tomography, Preparation of Radio Pharmaceuticals, Radiotherapy treatment and planning. In the fields of diagnostic imaging, radio pharmacy and radiotherapy, Advance Technology Company represents global brands such as GE Healthcare, Varian Medical Inc, Elekta, Comcer, Bayer, CMR NaviScan, PTW, Biodex/Miron, DDD Diagnostic, Spectrum Dynamics and Cyclomedica. Working with clients such as several hospitals in Ministry of health, Kuwait and Jaber Al Ahmed Molecular Imaging Center for Kuwait foundation for Advancement and Sciences, I play pivotal role in presales, contract negotiation, customer service, installation, commissioning and aftersales service. In projects of such magnitude, I always focus at acquiring in-depth understanding of client’s expectations to help me direct my team to deliver services beyond expectations. I am a strong believer and practitioner of all four components of Engineering Leadership, i.e, influence, effectiveness, engineering competency and collaboration. Since teams, timeliness and analytical decision making are essential to lead and succeed, I developed culturally diversified, strong and resilient and teams and harnessed them with expertise and knowledge spanning analytical approach to offering the excellence. Given my expertise, I won GE’s a Gold Medal as a Channel Partner. After years of leading high worth projects, to augment my experience, I am now pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP). My passion is to help others to excel by transferring my knowledge, experience and expertise. I have found the best way to do so is to provide training and coaching to university interns and fresh graduates. I organize regular training sessions to new comers followed by coaching on-site in real life.
