Eric Nyikwagh has demonstrated expertise and passion working as a development and humanitarian expert across agriculture, food security and livelihoods, sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and youth engagement sectors over the last ten years. Eric has worked and consulted for a number of national and international organizations, while managing a variety of donor-funded projects that yielded significant impact on intervention communities He previously served as Senior Program Manager at Caritas Nigeria and gained extensive understanding of administrative, programmatic, operational and technical aspects of running a humanitarian aid project in close collaboration with consortium partners. He provided strategic guidance and leadership for the project, including setting objectives & implementing activities. Eric is a natural leader and has held several positions of responsibility. Worthy of note, he was previously the Country Representative of Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) Nigeria and he used that platform to enable a greater participation of youths in policy, food systems, research & agro value chains. He is specialized in Program development and Strategy, Project management, Project design and proposal development, knowledge management, food security, Agricultural policy and Advocacy, nutrition, economic recovery and livelihoods, Social innovations, Rural development, Climate-smart agriculture, Financial inclusion and Income Generating Activities, Cash based interventions, Value chain development, Market linkages, Budget management, Donor, Stakeholder and Partnership management, and people management for large scale development projects Eric's strategic thinking, deep technical know-how of extensive, diversified and complex programs has enabled him turn high-level ideas into tangible plans that yielded major impact-driven outcomes.
