Ecom Raw Reality episode 42: how to actually A/B test Meta ads Meta gave you an A/B testing button But if you rely on it, you’re probably wasting your time Here’s why: 1️⃣ Meta’s A/B tool is single-mindedly focused Meta makes you feel like you’re testing But it forces bad conditions It only makes you select 1 goal When in reality, you have so many other variables to take into account 2️⃣ The right way to A/B test To simplify... Test each ad or each angle individually One ad per ad set Specific testing, and clean reads Creative testing -> winners -> scaling 3️⃣ Always ask ‘why’ before you test Do you want efficiency, scale, or both? Your testing structure should match your goal TOF vs BOF ads have totally different metrics Meta wants your money short term And you most likely have different goals than Meta has for you PS: YouTube link in the comments 🔗
Ecom Raw Reality episode 36: Trump's China tariffs 🇨🇳 If you run an ecom brand in the US, there’s a new threat And it’s not your competitors It’s the tariffs Here’s what founders are dealing with right now: 1️⃣ Uncertainty at every level Buy stock today and risk paying 2x in tariffs Wait a week, and the rules might change again 2️⃣ Margins getting squeezed A shipment that cost $1M last year might now cost $2M That’s not a marketing problem (even though marketing didn't get easier either) 3️⃣ Zero clarity from the top The next tariff announcement could come at midnight And no one knows if it’s temporary or permanent For now, the smartest brands are stalling, strategizing, or getting creative But the problem isn’t going away PS: Sharing some insights in the YouTube video 🔗
Weekend scaling is a real thing in eCom PS: Realistically most brands can get around 10-20% better results
Iman Gadzhi's 2nd challenge day was a pitch, but .... If you watched closely, you’d realize this is still 3D chess Here’s my honest take after Day 2 of the Make Money Online challenge: 1️⃣ He reframed $10K/month like it was obvious $350/day = 10K/month And once that number feels real Buying the offer feels like the logical next step What does $1.5k mean if you can make x10 that? 2️⃣ He sold the program without selling it From storytelling to slide pacing, everything was planned It felt like watching a movie, not a webinar And that's how a well planned webinar/challenge/presentation should be 3️⃣ The value is real… if you actually use it Whoop community, Synthesis AI, Ghostwriter OS, these tools are solid But the ROI only comes after you take action (I bought the offer, so I’ll test them too) If you’re smart, you’ll study how he’s doing it Not just what he’s saying PS: YouTube link in comments 🔗
eCom Raw Reality episode 38: why most media buyers are dumb (not all of them, but you’ll get the point) But let's be real Media buying isn’t just about Meta and Google numbers It’s more than that Here’s where most media buyers mess up: 1️⃣ They obsess over ROAS & ignore reality They don’t ask about business targets They forget about margins They scale too hard without checking what’s behind the ad account 2️⃣ They think performance equals intelligence You get lucky with a banger month And suddenly you start believing you're a genius But ... That result came from the product, the team, the timing, not just media buying 3️⃣ They lack long-term vision Good media buyers think like business partners Great ones zoom out, see brand building, seasonality, retention, and growth strategy Media buying isn't a silo'ed role It’s part of a much bigger picture PS: YouTube link in comments 🔗
Iman Gadzhi’s third day of the challenge was about something most people overlook: Distribution. Here’s what stood out to me: 1️⃣ Most people focus too much on the product But a good product with no distribution is just a well-kept secret Getting seen is half the game 2️⃣ You don’t need to be on every platform Pick one channel that suits you: - YouTube - TikTok - IG Reels - Whatever works Consistency > virality 3️⃣ Mindset still matters The excitement fades fast What keeps you going is long-term thinking and being around others who are building too Solid reminders all around PS: YouTube video link in comments 🔗
Iman Gadzhi’s Day 4 was all about increasing perceived value Which we can all learn from Here’s what stood out to me from this part of the (well executed) challenge: 1️⃣ He added Agency Accelerator as a bonus This was a standalone $997 product in the past Now it’s included in the Monetize offer Smart way to increase urgency without changing the core price 2️⃣ He’s selling the feeling of momentum Every day, more bonuses Every day, more reasons to stay And who doesn't like being offered more and more free value? 3️⃣ The strategy is low-risk, high-reward (for him and for buyers) You can join, check it out, and refund if it’s not for you However, my point of view 👇 If you always back out after you start… That becomes a pattern worth examining It’s less about the tools and more about the mindset (as always) PS: YouTube link in the comments 🔗
Ecom Raw Reality episode 39: the simple meta ad account structure What really works... For years If you’re running Meta ads for an ecom brand, here’s a simple structure that works at every level (0 to 9 figures): 1️⃣ Start with testing Test creatives individually Because even 5 “great” ads in one campaign won’t all get a fair chance Just like 5 all-stars on 1 team, someone’s getting overshadowed 2️⃣ Graduate the winners The best ads move to your scaling campaign Whether that’s CBO, ABO, or even Adv+, doesn’t matter The principle is: find what works, then fuel it 3️⃣ Add a cost cap campaign This is your safety net Useful for tight budgets, defensive scaling, or pushing volume with discipline Because profit > volume when margins matter Meta ads are simple You test, scale, then attack or defend That’s the game PS: YouTube video in comments 🔗
Ecom Raw Reality episode 41: the 6–7 figure media buyer Everyone talks about creative strategy But very few talk about how to actually handle the creatives in the ad account Here’s the reality: 1️⃣ It’s not just about media buying The 6–7 figure media buyers don’t just run ads They think like growth strategists They look at product, offer, stock, margins, retention They connect dots, they don’t just press buttons 2️⃣ The basics still win Checking the account daily Watching your frequency, CPC, CTR Most ‘average’ media buyers are lazy with data The good ones find patterns and act faster 3️⃣ Mindset > tactics Anyone can follow a course Very few will obsess over performance like it’s their own money Owner’s mindset is rare But it’s what separates $1K/month media buyers from $10K+/month media buyers Talent matters Work ethic matters But attitude over a long period of time trumps everything else PS: YouTube video link in comments 🔗
Ecom Raw Reality episode 40: eCom is still growing (and here’s why) E-commerce isn’t declining It’s just harder than it used to be But it’s still one of the best long-term games you can play Here’s why: 1️⃣ New brands are still launching daily Why? Because the tools are better, the knowledge is easier to find, and the barrier to entry is low But scaling? That’s a different game That’s where operators win, not just starters 2️⃣ Ecom grows as the economy grows People want convenience Technology keeps improving Costs keep dropping More shoppers = more sales 3️⃣ Creativity + angles still matter Monster energy drink owns the gym bros Red Bull owns the adrenaline junkies Celsius… not sure yet But there’s still room for a brand that owns creators, entrepreneurs, or deep work If you hit the right angle, there’s always space Ecom is tough But it’s not going anywhere And the people who stick with it will always have leverage PS: YouTube link in comments 🔗
Is Synthesise AI worth it? If you haven't heard about it, it's a tool to create digital products. Here’s what I found after testing it myself 👇 This came included with Iman Gadzhi’s Monetize program. Which as you can imagine, is for monetizing through digital products. What it does is help you streamline creating a course/product faster. Here’s what actually stood out to me after using it: 1️⃣ It’s structured well You get a clean breakdown: UVZ → product ideas → transformation journey → full module list → offer page And honestly ... It gives you too much info Most people will need to simplify it, otherwise, it’s overwhelming. 2️⃣ You’re not paying for the content, you’re paying for direction Yes, ChatGPT can do the same But it’ll take longer, require better prompts, and it won’t hand you a full roadmap Synthesize gives you structure For busy people who want to move faster That’s the real value 3️⃣ It’s not magic, you still need to do the work It won’t make you rich overnight It won’t make your product go viral either But it can save you hours of decision fatigue if you’re stuck on... “How to package a digital product?” 💭 Final take: If you’re already clear on your niche and good at prompting ChatGPT, you might not need this But if you value time, like clean structure, and want a guided shortcut, it’s helpful Especially if you already got it included with Monetize Just don’t expect it to sell for you (as some beginners might believe) PS: Full walkthrough in the YouTube video below 🔗
Ecom Raw Reality episode 35: why the Easter email is always a good idea Email is still one of the highest-leverage tools in eCom And most brands forget to use it when it matters most Here’s why today was a no-brainer: 1️⃣ It’s free visibility Your audience is relaxed, off work, and on their phones Perfect timing to show up 2️⃣ It builds brand warmth Even a kind message without an offer keeps your brand top of mind Doesn't always have to be about selling 3️⃣ It gives people a reason to buy A soft discount or limited-time offer on a holiday creates urgency without pressure If you skipped email today, just remember this for the next one Small actions stack up, especially when done consistently And to those celebrating, Happy Easter 🐇 PS: YouTube link in comments 🔗
The real reason why Iman Gadzhi is promoting Whoop right now And starting a 5-day make money online challenge Both a masterclass in selling and making money online I’m starting a short daily series where I share my thoughts on Iman Gadzhi’s new “Make Money Online” challenge Here’s my honest take after Day 1: 1️⃣ This is a masterclass in selling Iman doesn’t just hype people up He gives them both the motivation and the tools to make money He’s selling without making you feel sold to, a rare skill 2️⃣ It’s smart business He’s pushing Whoop, his platform for selling digital products He wins if you win It’s Stripe meets Shopify for digital products Long-term thinking at its finest if you think about the potential 3️⃣ More people need to watch how he operates Even if you never buy anything Just seeing how he structures the challenge, the slides, the energy It’s an MBA in real marketing You’ll learn more by watching than by debating If you’re serious about making money online, don’t just listen to what people say Watch what the best do PS: YouTube video in the comments 🔗
Every eCom brand has untapped potential waiting to be unlocked 🔓 It's not a coincidence that this brand had: 1️⃣ The biggest sales day ever 2️⃣ The only 4-day stretch of 100k+ sales days 3️⃣ Biggest new customer revenue ever, PROFITABLY Scaling is a skill And everyone wants scale until they realize having stock and fulfilling orders is part of the job lol PS: now back to praying the 3PL doesn’t fumble this bag 💀
Investing in ourselves is never a bad idea Most of us don't do it just because we're not sure of the ROI - return on investment Which, in part, depends on us For example, I want to share some of my knowledge in digital format So I joined a program such as Iman Gadzhi’s Monetise Since he's one of the best at packaging info Here’s my raw review after going through 50% of the content in less than a week: 1️⃣ The course is solid, not groundbreaking The structure is simple: digital product foundations, product creation, launch, and distribution The content is good But not deeply in-depth More of a high level blueprint 2️⃣ The real value is in the calls You get multiple weekly calls Copywriting, media buying, product strategy If you show up and ask the right questions This can easily be worth the investment 3️⃣ The tools are helpful but not magic Synthesize AI and Ghostriter OS are just ChatGPT with training wheels Useful for beginners, but if you already use GPT well, they won’t blow your mind Bottom line: If you’re serious about launching a digital product, it’s a decent all-in-one jumpstart But you still have to do the work The course doesn’t do it for you PS: YouTube video in comments 🔗
eCom Raw Reality episode 37: why real eCom brands take time to build Most people want quick wins But the brands that last... They’re built slowly and intentionally Here’s your reminder: 1️⃣ Dropshipping isn’t branding One-hit-wonder products create cash, not loyalty If you want repeat buyers, you need a story and a mission 2️⃣ Time compounds visibility Brands get stronger the longer they’re consistent You show up enough, and people remember you when it matters 3️⃣ Your product is only step one Building a catalog, building loyalty, building trust That’s the long game, and it pays If you’re in this for 3 months, go fast If you’re in this for 3 years, build right PS: YouTube link in comments 🔗
If your Meta ads agency or media buyer does this ... run They won't work on the account for long anyway ❌ 17+ frequency on retargeting ❌ Video views objective ❌ 3 naming conventions The eCom agency space isn’t saturated Almost every eCom brand has a media buyer / agency / partner But 50% of them probably underperform Many are good at selling Few at performance Which is why there's always room for new quality players in this space PS: your Meta rep isn't giving you the "inside scoop", they're just hitting their KPIs
Testing a subscription "ghostwriting" tool Which does seem to be listed at $3k/annually It’s pitched as “the last copywriting tool you’ll ever need” But is it? Here’s my honest take after using it for a week: 1️⃣ The DNA feature is actually solid You create multiple “writing identities” based on your voice, product, and audience It centralizes tone, objections, offers, and customer psychology, which helps if you write a lot But you could replicate 80% of this with ChatGPT if you know how to prompt well 2️⃣ The real value is the structure, not the AI The agents (like for VSLs, landing pages, objections, etc.) give you well-built frameworks It’s ChatGPT + SOPs for copy Good if you want to move fast Not great if you already know how to write 3️⃣ It’s not worth $3K on its own This feels like a bonus tool bundled to justify Monetize’s price (Iman Gadzhi's program) Standalone? Definitely overpriced But as part of a bundle? Helpful Especially if you’re new to offers and messaging. 💭 Final take: Useful if you’re early, overwhelmed, or just want handholding Not essential if you’re already confident with your copy and frameworks. PS: YouTube video in comments 🔗
What else could you do on a final day of an offer, except push urgency ⏰ But there’s still something to learn. Here’s what stood out to me on the last day of a money making challenge: 1️⃣ Motivation, not information Jason Fladlien took over and delivered what was basically a high-level pep talk It wasn’t about frameworks or tactics It was about helping people finally make a decision 2️⃣ Two more bonuses added Nothing works better than getting more than what you pay for Getting 1-2 bonuses each day for 5 days totals more than enough to make a deal seem like a steal 3️⃣ A subtle mindset lesson Buying a program isn’t the win Deciding and committing is And most people don’t fail because they lack tools They fail because they keep hesitating There’s no perfect program But there is such a thing as a perfect time to start And typically the best moment is now PS: YouTube video link in comments 🔗
