As part of the ICT Leadership team and as Director Professional Services ICT my main responsibility is P&L responsibility of a department (ICT System Integration) with 31 people,

Within this role I am end to end responsible for solution development, presales, operations (project & support services) with full responsibility on Strategy, P/L, and people management.

 My main job responsibilities are:
•	My responsibilities as I focused on them as a Business Development Manager
•	Support and coaching of my Project Managers in order to be able to grow the business, and align vision, strategy and execution within the team.
•	Taking the lead for support and service management contracts, and heading the support team in order to control our delivered services, this role has evolved to a coaching role as well.
•	Operational P/L responsibility for a business with revenue of 7.000K €, and 450K EBIT
•	Improvement of processes in order to support our growing business: a.o. responsible for the implementation of ITIL processes (company wide), development of project implementation practices (Infrastructure Lifecycle) in co-operation with our Quality and Process Manager
•	Responsible for people management, building up a team, motivating and coaching that team.

Within this function I report directly to the CEO.

Director Professional Services ICT

In my role as a Business Development Manager my main responsibility was creating vision, strategy and development of new ICT business streams with current and new customers, and focus on development of new ICT solutions either from a technological or vertical market point of view.

My main job responsibilities are:
•	Support and build technical architecture solutions in accordance with business requirements and financial budgets to maximize Return on Investment and determine Total Cost of Ownership
•	Estimate project duration and resources needed in form of Gantt charts as well as scope definition in bid phases
•	Acts as overall bid management lead when answering RFP’s and RFQ’s covering different solutions or technology domains
•	Customer negotiation on CxO/IT management level in terms of proposals
•	Trusted advisor towards existing customers for project definitions
•	Present and defend proposals as well as presentations of technologies in sales engagements and seminars
•	Providing guidance to our operational teams (Project Manager, Service Manager and Consultants)
•	Control whether proposed solutions address the customer business and technical requirements
•	Act as prime responsible during bid and delivery phase for offerings ranging from 50K in revenue towards 2.000K in revenue
•	Develop and maintain packaged ICT Solutions covering different solutions or technology domains
•	Responsible for business planning – P/L, Sales targets, definition of addressable market, market segments
•	Responsible for alliance with different vendors regarding to our solution stack (a.o Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Dell, VMWare, Citrix)
•	Setting up new alliances with new vendors in order to extend our solution portfolio

I reported directly to the Operations Director.

Business Development Manager ICT

From 2003 till end 2009 in my role as a Business Unit Manager my main responsibility was building up a new business unit (Managed Services & Security), starting with 3 people, build up to 15 people by 2008 delivering completely new services within Ferranti at that time.

Within this role I was end to end responsible for solution development, presales, operations (project & support services) with full P/L responsibility, and full people management responsibility.

 My main job responsibilities were:
•	My responsibilities as I am now heading in my function as Business Development Manager but at a less detailed and focused level
•	In a first phase Project Management function for won projects and face towards the customer in order to guarantee qualitative delivery of our services.
•	In a second phase – support and coaching of my Project Managers in order to be able to grow the business, and align vision, strategy and execution within the theam.
•	Additionally to my project managers role, I was taking the lead as well for support and service management contracts, and headed the support team in order to control our delivered services, this role has evolved to a coaching role as well.
•	Operational P/L responsibility for a business with revenue of 4.000K €, and 1.300K Bruto Margin
•	Implementation of processes in order to support our growing business: a.o. responsible for the implementation of ITIL processes (company wide), development of project implementation practices (Infrastructure Lifecycle) in co-operation with our Quality and Process Manager
•	Responsible as IT Manager for the infrastructure within Ferranti Computer Systems, from a project implementation and a support perspective.
•	Responsible for people management, building up a team, motivating and coaching that team.

Within this function I reported directly to the Operations Director.

Business Unit Manager

Atos Origin

Within Atos Origin I started initially in a more technical consultant role, evolving towards a system architect role, and finally towards a project/service manager lead.

My main responsibilities were:
•	Designing and implementing IT infrastructures on a project basis at network, server and application level using different technologies mainly based on IBM/Lotus technology	
•	Presenting, defending IT architectures towards customer’s management
•	Project management for small implementation projects, including planning and resource management
•	Service Management, development and negotiation of service levels, support contracts and follow-up and reporting afterwards.
•	Deliver support when projects are handed over to operations and at customer demand
•	Provide technical assistance in the sales track in form of demonstrations and presentations.
