I'm a London-based German & Hungarian language coach, linguist and language enthusiast, marketer and published author, and a student for life. In a nutshell: I'm multi-passionate person and eternal optimist with a mission to help people achieve their goals. I run a boutique language training company called ProLingua Global. As a German and Hungarian language coach, I help finance executives to get from scratch to no longer feeling like a complete outsider when surrounded by German or Hungarian colleagues and partners. I want to eradicate one sentence from people’s minds, once and for all: “It takes forever to learn a language.” Learning a language is not rocket science. And with the right approach, it doesn’t have to take years to reach a degree of fluency. I designed a signature 5-step language coaching programme to meet the specific needs of executives in the financial services industry. The programme is now available – exclusively from ProLingua Global. Bringing people together and creating an inspiring environment for linguists was my main goal when I launched Language Professionals' Networking Event, an independent, non-profit monthly social initiative. It's become a wonderfully supportive community that's growing organically. Proceeds from our ticket sales go to support the life-changing work of Moorfields Eye Charity. I'm now excited to starting to work with two very promising digital marketing interns and becoming a mentor for them. I'm a self-taught digital marketer and I'm especially interested in words and copywriting, a skill that I've come to learn about when becoming the marketing director Figaro London, a boutique neighbourhood hair and beauty salon in EC1. We've been around for over 8 years, won awards, have been featured in magazines, and have many wonderful reviews. Yet, what I'm most excited about here is coordinating our newly launched digital marketing internship programme. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to work with young and incredibly ambitious talents, being their mentor and teaching them the marketing skills I've learnt while working on the job. Seeing these individuals to grow as they gain practical experience and bring their brilliant, fresh ideas to our projects is eye-opening and hugely meaningful to me and my professional growth.
