Are you a brand on TikTok that hasn't authorized your trademark yet? If so, you're missing out on a huge opportunity to grow your business. What is brand authorization? It's a process that verifies your brand's authenticity on TikTok. When you authorize your brand, you're essentially telling TikTok, "Hey, this is my brand, and it's legit." Why is it important? - Increased Visibility: Authorizing your brand can help your products and content rank higher in TikTok's search results. This means more people will see your stuff, which can lead to more followers, likes, and shares. - Enhanced Credibility: When people see that your brand is authorized, they're more likely to trust you and your products. This is especially important if you're selling products online or trying to build a reputation as a thought leader in your industry. - Better Engagement: Authorized brands tend to have higher engagement rates on TikTok. This means more people are interacting with your content, which can help you build a loyal following. - Protection from Counterfeits: Authorizing your brand can help protect you from counterfeit products being sold under your name. This is a major concern for many brands, as counterfeits can damage your reputation and hurt your sales. How do you authorize your brand on TikTok? The process is fairly straightforward. You'll need to provide some documentation to prove that you own the trademark. Once your application is approved, your brand will be authorized on TikTok. So, what are you waiting for? Authorizing your brand on TikTok is a small investment with a big payoff. It can help you increase your visibility, build trust, and boost your sales. Beauty brands are thriving on TikTok Shop, but now? They're caught in the middle of a trade war and a potential ownership shakeup. Here’s what’s going down: → Former President Trump just launched a new round of tariffs up to 245% on Chinese imports. → China responded with 125% on U.S. goods. The beauty category, which heavily relies on Chinese manufacturing for components and packaging, is feeling the squeeze. Add in mounting pressure for ByteDance to sell TikTok’s U.S. operations or face a ban, and the future looks uncertain. But despite the chaos, TikTok Shop hasn’t slowed down: – Beauty sales on TikTok Shop grew 53% year-over-year (vs. just 10% across all beauty eCommerce) – Q1 2025 sales hit $473.9 million, up 87% from last year – Basket sizes are growing, $30+ products are trending up, replacing the $15 impulse buy era Premium beauty is thriving. Medicube’s $93 skincare set was a top seller. So were $79 and $45 bundles from Anua and Lattafa. Consumers are becoming more comfortable making considered purchases right inside the app. And brands are evolving fast to meet that moment. The future of beauty on TikTok Shop? Unclear. But one thing is clear: - Brands are still selling. - Consumers are still buying. - Growth isn’t slowing down. So what should beauty brands do now? → Double down while it’s still business as usual. → Focus on building your brand voice and community. → Don’t wait for the dust to settle build while others panic. We help beauty brands navigate every twist and turn on TikTok Shop. If you're ready to scale even in uncertain times let’s talk. Book a strategy call now Questions? How to grow your brand on TikTok Shop (the hard way): Step 1: Spend 3 hours editing a video to go viral. Forget to add a CTA. Post anyway. Step 2: Copy what big brands are doing with zero idea why it works for them. Get 48 views. Step 3: List your product with a blurry thumbnail, no reviews, and call it a “strategy.” Step 4: Complain about TikTok Shop being “dead” after trying for 2 weeks. Tell yourself Instagram was better. Step 5: Ignore creators, ignore data, and price your product like it’s in Sephora. (But it’s not.) Step 6: Post a viral trend and wonder why it didn’t convert. (No offer, no hook, no problem… right?) Step 7: Keep doing all this until you burn out and say “TikTok Shop doesn’t work.” OR… You could: Build offers that actually convert Craft scroll-stopping content + creator strategies Launch like a pro, with a real game plan Price your products with intention Tap into buyer psychology Scale with data, not guesses And most importantly: Sell like a brand that came to win. Because you’re not just here to go viral. You’re here to dominate. P.S. I help brands scale on TikTok Shop using tested frameworks, creator collabs, and sales-first strategy. The best way to grow a successful ecommerce brand in 2025? (Regardless of your follower count or how long you’ve been in business.) Treat TikTok Shop like it’s your main sales channel, not just a place to post content. The smartest sellers right now aren’t overthinking it. They’re showing up with content that converts. They’re building audiences through trust, not gimmicks. They’re mastering what works, then doubling down. Here’s why TikTok Shop is different (and why that’s a good thing): You don’t need a Shopify store or fancy funnel. TikTok Shop gives you the storefront, the traffic, and the buyers, all in one place. You don’t need to go viral to win. You need consistent, converting content that shows off your product in a way people actually care about. You don’t need influencers, you need marketers. Partner with UGC creators who understand sales psychology. (There’s a difference between looking good on camera and knowing how to sell a product.) The sellers dominating TikTok Shop today are the ones who: → Create scroll-stopping hooks → Tell real, relatable stories → Show transformation, not just features → Include strong CTAs that move people to buy That’s it. No paid ads. No funnels. No fluff. Because TikTok is no longer just a place to “build brand awareness.” It’s a place to make sales in real time, while people are still watching your video. And guess what? This is the biggest low-cost, high-reward window we’ve ever seen in ecommerce. The platform is still expanding. The competition is beatable. The opportunity is real. But to win, you’ve got to stop thinking about TikTok as “just another platform” and start treating it like the most powerful sales tool in your business. TikTok Shop just rolled out a major storefront update and it’s a game changer. The old Shop Page is now officially called Shop Design, and it comes with a ton of customization features brands should be using right now: ✅ Add your logo, brand colors, and banner ✅ Drag-and-drop layout to highlight collections ✅ Showcase bestsellers or promos right up front But here’s the real kicker →Shops using Shop Design see an average conversion rate of 3.78%. That’s more than double the 1.73% conversion for those who don’t use it. Let me say it bluntly: Your storefront matters. TikTok is no longer just about viral videos. It’s about visual trust, seamless UX, and brand storytelling inside your storefront. If you haven’t customized your Shop Design yet, this is your sign to do it before your competitors pass you by. Everyone thought TikTok was done in the U.S. Then this happened... Despite political drama and endless “ban” headlines, TikTok is doing what it does best: Growing. Fast. → 60%+ surge in daily downloads → $144M in U.S. in-app sales (in March alone) → 5% monthly increase in active users → 75 minutes per day spent *per user* (beating Instagram and Facebook) And now? TikTok just secured a 75-day extension from the U.S. government. That means: More time for sellers. More opportunity for brands. More growth for those who don’t sit on the sidelines. The reality is clear: Whether you love it or hate it… TikTok isn’t going anywhere. And for sellers, this is your window. Because while others are hesitating, smart brands are *stacking sales* on TikTok Shop. This platform isn’t just surviving It’s dominating attention, engagement, and revenue. How TikTok’s expansion across Europe is reshaping e-commerce and why early adopters have a major edge While uncertainty swirls around TikTok's operations in the US due to escalating tariffs and regulatory concerns, Europe represents a massive opportunity for TikTok. The recent TikTok shop expansion across Europe, launching in Germany, France, and Italy, shows the trend gaining momentum. Most interestingly, big brands supported the European launch of TikTok Shop. → Carrefour in France → Fashion retailer About You → Cosmetics giant Cosnova in Germany The timing is right. A quarter of Europeans already shop via social platforms, and these three new markets alone bring over 72 million potential users. As younger consumers shift away from traditional retail, TikTok is meeting them where they are, on their For You Pages. TikTok has adapted carefully to Western consumer expectations and behaviors, but preferences vary across Europe, from payment methods to attitudes toward data sharing. For European brands, early adoption of TikTok shops will offer advantages like lower ad costs, reduced competition, and the chance to build audience loyalty as attitudes toward retail continue to shift If you’re a European brand (or selling cross-border), now is the time to get in early. TikTok Shop is creating a new retail category and the window is wide open. P.S. I help brands launch and scale on TikTok Shop. I have few slots on my FREE Strategy Call, book now!
I just spotted something inside TikTok Shop that sellers really need to pay attention to. Your shop’s internal performance metrics? They’re now visible to creators as a public recommendation label. Here’s what creators now see when they check your listing: ✅ “Highly Recommended” 👍 “Recommended” 😐 “Neutral” ⚠️ “Consider with Caution” And while the backend score calculation hasn’t changed, the impact has. If your score slips, top affiliates might pass on your products—before you even get a chance to pitch them. This update puts pressure on sellers to keep operations tight: → Fast shipping → Good reviews → Low return rates → Solid listing experience In our agency, we’ve already started auditing client accounts for anything that might hurt their score from misleading thumbnails to missed SLAs. Here’s my advice if you want to stay in the "Highly Recommended" zone: → Fix weak listings or underperforming SKUs → Follow up with happy customers for more 5-star reviews → Start using your score as part of your affiliate pitch—build trust before they even ask This change shifts TikTok Shop from "anyone can play" → to "only the best win distribution." Curious how this will affect affiliate conversion rates over time... what do you think? #tiktokupdate #tiktokseller #tiktokshop #tiktok
NEW TIKTOK SHOP FEATURE - FLAT FEE OPTION FOR AFFILIATES If you’re doing affiliate content, TikTok just launched a brand new program and it’s a major shift in how creators can get paid. Right now, it’s invite-only. But here’s how it works: Instead of earning commission only, this new program allows you to get paid upfront just to post. No waiting for orders. No relying on conversions. Inside your TikTok Shop creator toolkit, go to: → Collab Invites → Tap the filter icon → You’ll see a new option: “Flat Fee” This is where brands will offer a set amount to collaborate with you even before any sales happen. There’s also a new filter inside the “Affiliate Orders” section under Earnings that shows whether your content was paid via flat fee or commission. It’s still in beta but if TikTok rolls this out widely, it could solve one of the biggest friction points for creators: inconsistent income. I got accepted into the test group and will be sharing what I learn as it rolls out. More on that soon. 5 Common TikTok Shop Listing Mistakes (And how to fix them before they cost you sales.) Most new sellers think uploading a product is all it takes to start making money. That’s where things go sideways. The reality? TikTok Shop rewards optimized listings but yours might be holding you back if it: 1. Has poor-quality visuals (kills trust instantly). 2. Lacks social proof (feels risky to buy). 3. Uses bland, feature-only copy (fails to connect). 4. Ignores keyword discovery (hard to find). 5. Misses the TikTok shopper mindset (wrong message, wrong buyer). Your listing should compel, not confuse. Here’s how we help sellers level up: Step 1: Eye-Catching, Scroll-Stopping Visuals ↳ High-res images that tell a story. ↳ Highlight transformations or use-cases. ↳ TikTok buyers want to see the benefit, fast. Step 2: Trust-Building Proof ↳ Add UGC, ratings, or creator screenshots. ↳ People trust people—use that psychology. Step 3: Emotion-Driven Copy That Clicks ↳ Focus on the shopper’s problems and dreams. ↳ TikTok isn’t about specs—it’s about why it matters. Step 4: Strategic Keyword Placement ↳ Use words your audience actually searches. ↳ Look at viral listings for proven patterns. Step 5: Know Who You're Selling To ↳ TikTok's buyer base is largely house moms. ↳ Your visuals, copy, and offer should speak to them directly. A strong listing is your silent salesperson—working 24/7 to drive conversions and feed the algorithm. Make every part count. P.S. Want a quick listing audit? DM me “Listing Fix” and I’ll review it personally. ♻️ Repost if this helps a seller you know. Follow me 🔔→ Ivan Bagaybagayan for real TikTok Shop strategy.
I failed, more than once. My first mobile apps? Some flopped hard. My Amazon seat cushion business? Moldy products, missed shipments, late nights, and burnout. I even got scammed along the way. There were moments I thought I wasn’t cut out for this. But I had two choices: Quit or keep building. I chose to build. Fast forward, I scaled that Amazon business to seven figures while working a full-time job. Here’s what changed everything: I treated nights and weekends like mission-critical hours I studied what worked then doubled down I built systems, not just products I saw every failure as feedback, not a verdict From there, opportunities opened up: - Became Head of Amazon for brands like TRUFF, TULA Skincare, Nectar, and GOPURE - Helped drive over $100 million in sales - Witnessed the power of TikTok Shop firsthand So in 2024, I made the leap Launched TikTok Shop Insiders, a podcast and agency helping brands crush it on TikTok. What I’ve learned: Pressure is a privilege The most successful people aren’t the smartest, just the most relentless Your 'why' must be louder than your doubts If you’re in the thick of it right now, tired, doubting, ready to throw in the towel. Hear this: You’re closer than you think. The setback might just be your setup. Tell me your latest business hurdle in the comments. I’ll help you work through it. Repost this if you’re choosing resilience over excuses this year and tag someone who needs to hear this today. #FounderStory #TikTokShop #EntrepreneurLife #Resilience #KeepBuilding
"How long until I see real revenue on TikTok Shop?" It's a question I get asked constantly. And the honest answer? It depends. One of our cold start clients went from $0 to $28k within 2 months of launching in TTS. Forget your Amazon best-seller badges and meticulously crafted keywords. On TikTok, the algorithm dances to a different tune: community-driven hype. Success on TikTok Shop isn't about what you've done elsewhere, it's about who is advocating for you authentically on the platform. You need an army of affiliates, genuinely connecting with your audience and driving those sales. We recently took a brand from $0 to over $28k in GMV in less than 60 days. How? - Affiliate outreach at scale - Retainer partnerships with top affiliates - Content briefs to help shape the viral narrative - Leveraging our own creator network - Consistent LIVEs - Manual ads How do we scale this brand further to 100k/mo? We cut underperformers and scale winners. We continue mass sampling to find winning content, secure top creators with retainers, and amplify their best creatives with ads. Want me to handle these for your brand? DM me so I could help you.
Almost every reason beauty brands struggle on TikTok Shop comes down to one thing: They aren’t selling where Gen Z shops. → Struggling to get your products discovered? Start selling on TikTok Shop. → Low sales despite having a great product? Start selling on TikTok Shop. → No traction from influencers or UGC? Start selling on TikTok Shop. → Want to turn views into real revenue? Start selling on TikTok Shop. → Competitors are going viral while you're stuck? Start selling on TikTok Shop. Here’s why TikTok Shop is non-negotiable for beauty brands in 2025: TikTok creates demand, Gen Z isn’t just discovering makeup trends here, they’re buying products directly from the app. From Rare Beauty blush to the viral Maybelline Sky High Mascara, TikTok decides what’s trending. Frictionless shopping = higher conversions – Unlike traditional e-commerce, where customers need to leave the app to buy, TikTok Shop lets users purchase instantly, reducing drop-off rates and boosting impulse buys. Creators drive sales for you – Instead of dumping money into ads, you can partner with TikTok creators who will showcase, review, and sell your products organically, without upfront costs. The algorithm does the work – TikTok’s For You Page (FYP) puts products directly in front of interested buyers. You don’t need a massive following, just the right strategy. TikTok users spend big on beauty, The app is a goldmine for beauty brands, with Gen Z and Millennials spending more than ever on skincare and makeup they discover through TikTok. The process to start making sales fast: → Set up your TikTok Shop seller account in minutes → List your viral-ready products (think cult-favorite brow gels, skin tints, or K-beauty must-haves) → Enable affiliate marketing so TikTok creators can sell for you → Run TikTok LIVE selling events to drive real-time conversions → Leverage TikTok ads to scale winning products → Stay consistent, the algorithm rewards brands that show up daily Why this works: More visibility = More sales Creators push your products without upfront costs TikTok’s algorithm does the selling for you Most brands get this backwards: They post content randomly Hope for virality Get frustrated when sales don’t follow The brands scaling fast aren’t waiting for reach. They’re building it. Your customers are already on TikTok. The question is: Is your brand? Drop your biggest challenge in the comments. Let’s talk strategy!
