My duties -  On a daily basis overseeing the daily operations of the office for a cores team following a company restructuring 

Daily management of the CEO’s diary.  Liaising with all CEO business contacts, drafting reports for board attention, monitoring and responding to all calls and actioning appropriate follow on and next steps  

Introduced a budget control system to control department budgets using strict purchasing guidelines to control monthly expenditure and bring spending under control by implementing and overseeing an improved accounting system narrowing staff payment authorisations which brought spending within a budget

Introduced online staff records to increase efficiency and transparency of records, efficient business planning, staff management and development

Coached management on business standards, best practice, upskilling and how to communicate with staff more effectively. Trained managers to manage employee performance with personal plans and sickness with sickness trackers, advised through grievances and disciplinaries processes involving employees and volunteers informally and formally to completion 
 
Directed occupational health assessments for identified staff

Negotiated and updated staff contracts and job descriptions to reflect actual duties required for their roles
