"The unapologetic pursuit of human connection." That's how one technology leader at a $1B enterprise described my customer engagement approach. I'm not sure there could be a greater compliment. I have a knack and passion for creating trusting, mutually-beneficial relationships with strategic customers and using storytelling to put a human face on the ways technology transforms business. I am known for putting customers at ease, engaging them in a high-touch manner that uncovers their story, making it easier for them to engage and participate in co-marketing activities that strengthen the customer experience, build loyalty, drive sales and renewals, and strengthen the brand. Many years in corporate communications, customer marketing, and technology PR has taught me many things, but the most important lesson is that technology is useless without the people who use it. My job is to tell stories about what technology does for them. When we get that right, the companies I work for and their customers both win. My degree is in journalism and so I am a reporter at heart. There's always a story to tell. The trick is uncovering it, understanding the impact, and making it compelling. My career started in public relations - first at agencies and then on the corporate side. My roster includes tech giants like Microsoft, Intel, and Lexmark, along with smaller startups and mid-size tech firms. My recipe for success is building relationships with executive-level customers and building bridges that others just can't or haven't. The other defining ingredient is putting people first, especially those who work beside me and who have trusted me to support them and their careers. I spend as much time in the trenches with my team as I do with other leaders building the strategy. I stay close to where the action is. Close enough to keep my perspective realistic and stay fully aware of the challenges my team is facing. But, far enough away to give my team autonomy to build and execute their programs in their vision. CONTACT: [email protected]
