The problem is that you’re asking people to adopt a strategy they didn’t have a hand in creating, which means they don’t have any real ownership of it and can’t really identify with it. That means they don’t really know how it works, and they’ll get rid of it at the first sign of adversity. Your team already has what they need. They just need a little help letting it out. They don't need another manual; they need to be encouraged to be better problem solvers. That’s what I do.
