I grew up in NC and was exposed to the mortgage business early, as my mother was a realtor. Outside of work, my focus is on my family of two young ladies, my wife of 26+ years, and our dog, Sheba. We like outdoor activities, concerts, sports, and hanging out with friends for fun. I have been in the mortgage business for 25 plus years. I worked in different leadership roles for large, mid, and small companies. What I have learned and still focus on to this day is the following. Success revolves around growing, learning, gratitude, and the people you surround yourself with. What I value as a person and a leader is the same: 1. Gratitude: you should start every day being grateful. Your “why” can change, but if you are grateful, it will define your path. 2. Growth: personal development inside and outside of work is essential. I don’t believe in perfect, but I do believe in better. 3. Learning: It takes perseverance and self-discipline to learn consistently. The mortgage business and life aren’t easy, but both are gifts. Anyone on the team must be “ALL IN” because I am “ALL IN ALL THE TIME.” Maximum effort will earn you a ride-or-die partnership with me and the team.
