I’m an integrated healthcare communications professional: a storyteller, strategic thought partner, content creator, team leader, builder of communications solutions, and entrepreneurial driver of business growth. I have more than 23 years of experience helping companies become creators - not just competitors - and have achieved measurable results through innovative corporate and product communications and marketing programs. I’ve partnered with biotech/life science, pharmaceutical, healthcare-technology, and device/diagnostic companies, ranging from start-ups to global organizations, and spanning the lifecycle, from pre-clinical through commercialization. As an entrepreneurial innovator, I enjoy creating new communications tools that help companies achieve their storytelling and strategic communications goals. As an example, I developed an innovative methodology for building corporate and product narratives, using qualitative data, anecdotal stakeholder feedback, and insights about language and sentiment, to inform stories which enable more enduring, and measurably productive, connections with stakeholders. I also build customized growth strategies for communications agencies, including refining the value proposition, and creating a compelling narrative, marketing plan, thought leadership program, and owned content. Additionally, I aid in white space and prospect targeting, and creating new services and offerings. I also support development of formalized client relationship management programs and organic growth initiatives, and provide end-to-end RFP support, including research, strategy, platform, and tactical ideation.
