As Head of Sales, my primary goal is to drive the Global Semestry Sales Team towards exceeding goals through strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to sales excellence. One of my key responsibilities is overseeing the team's performance against key performance indicators.
To ensure that each team member reaches their full potential, I believe in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Empowering the sales team is crucial. I provide them with advanced sales enablement tools and strategies, including curating a comprehensive suite of resources and accessible content to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the fiercely competitive educational technology landscape.
Identifying and removing any roadblocks within our sales infrastructure is another critical aspect of my role. I optimise our systems to support peak performance from the team. 
Scaling our team is a key focus for me. I aim to foster independent units specialising in solutions, broadening market penetration, and enhancing our brand presence in education. Collaboration across departments is essential for maximising sales outcomes and market impact. Therefore, I work closely with departments such as web, project management, marketing, professional services, support, and product management to create a unified front poised for success.
With 16 years of experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups and education, my expertise lies in leading teams to success through effective coaching and leadership. I have a performance-oriented attitude that instils a 'get things done' mindset. My strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities enable me to navigate complexities with agility and strategic foresight. Leveraging my IT affinity and systems, I use data and business intelligence to drive informed, strategic sales decisions. As regional manager for Ireland and Europe, I manage and coordinate regional operations. I am working closely with schools, Education providers, universities and candidates to secure roles and opportunities across all channels. 

This includes deploying recruitment strategies to enable robust and sustainable talent acquisition for schools nationally and internationally. Using disruptive, digital recruitment techniques combined with expert, high-performing personnel, we provide our clients with everything they require to fulfil recruitment and retention objectives, saving, on average, 47% of school recruitment budgets.

We are proud to be now working across our diverse portfolio of products: Eteach Advertising, School Recruiter Software and Specialist Recruitment Consultancy to provide our unique hybrid recruitment solution exclusively for schools. 

My role has further developed into inclusion as part of the founding team of the Eteach Academy. As an experienced and CIPD Qualified sales coach, I strategically develop and manage the sales enablement process. Consistently and systematically equipping our client-facing team with the resources to have valuable conversations with the right stakeholders to optimise ROI. 

Ireland has historically been a virgin territory for Eteach, and I have been involved in developing the strategy to launch and establish operations in the region.

Horizon Energy Group (HEG)

As an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager, I have a proven track record in building strong relationships and implementing successful sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue. At Horizon Energy, I played a vital role in establishing the company as the leading energy procurement consultant for corporates and energy price comparison partner for SMEs in Ireland. The company now services over 70,000 sites and manages over €1 billion in energy spend.

In my role, I am responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with SMEs and Industrial and Commercial clients. By understanding their unique energy requirements, I provide tailored solutions that effectively manage costs while reducing carbon footprint. As Sales Manager at Obbi, I lead our mission to digitise and simplify business operations. With expertise in the MEDDICC framework, I have crafted our sales strategy, process, and buyer profiles. HubSpot is our CMS and CRM backbone for seamless sales and marketing synergy.

I am responsible for all aspects of business development and achieving ambitious sales goals. My skills include sales planning, forecasting, and KPI reporting to provide crucial insights for strategic decision-making. Using a "land and expand" approach, I have developed a robust process for outreach, onboarding, activation, and expansion.

I provided washroom solutions to new customers whilst also maintaining a large portfolio of clients and ensuring ongoing generation of new profitable business to the organisation. During my time with the company I was ranked 6th across UK and Ireland for my performance. I worked within two divisions in Initial: Washrooms solutions and Textile services incorporating work wear sales.

TFR Group

Development of training courses and packages for presentation by on-site managers.  Ongoing development and generation of profitable business from major railway maintenance companies.  Detailed audits of training policies and procedures, management of training processes along with Health and Safety briefings. Provision of effective PPE and ticketing for use on and off track.
