2 months ago, I wrote my best-performed LinkedIn post…

2 things to know it: 

- I was preparing for it 6 months
- It was best-performed in terms of how many people it reached

It was for the 40,000-strong community I've built alongside one of my business partners (client) over the last six months.

At the beginning of our collaboration, we talked about the main purpose of growing an audience and delivering a big message to his people…

→ He will set up a new company in Lagos, Nigeria, to pursue his most extensive vision. 

1 - We've had 100's of conversations on this topic
2 - We did lots of content for refining his tone of voice
3 - We adjusted, we learned, we improved, we did not stop

One day, I wrote the post from the Client's perspective, educating people on the importance of accessibility to healthcare and discussing the announcement.

I refined it, he added to it, I refined it again, he approved.

It took me an hour to perfect it and 20 minutes to come up with the final 2 power sentences.

The post is currently sitting at almost 20,000 reactions, over 1,700+ comments, and 900+ reposts.

There was no viral strategy. In fact, we only wanted to bring a massive impact with this post. 

Today, we are sitting at over a MILLION views and 1,000+ conversations.

The response has been so overwhelming that we’ve spent hours just sorting out the people...

However, it is a huge reminder that the big visions and big whys matter.

In fact, it’s a core thing when building brands on LinkedIn and businesses out there.
