🌟WHAT I DO I help financial advisors, attorneys, and CPAs with their clients by planning for life’s hardest events and mitigating consequences with long-term care (LTC) aka extended care. I help employers provide their employees with a caregiving support platform and LTC insurance. I help clients and their families with their LTC and disability insurance planning needs. I design unique policies for each individual/family. I’m a guide. I don't tell my clients what they should do, rather I listen to their needs, goals, and concerns and give them recommendations. Ultimately, it's up to them to decide. 🌟WHY I DO WHAT I DO I know the value and importance of planning for the unexpected. I saw and experienced the difficult realities of extended care/LTC situations in my family. All of my grandparents needed LTC, but none of them had a written plan or LTC insurance. This put a tremendous amount of financial, physical, and emotional burdens on my family. I was a part-time caregiver to my grandma for a couple of years. I wish my family planned in advance for LTC and had insurance. My father-in-law was a dentist and due to an accident lost significant vision and could no longer practice dentistry in his 40s. His individual disability policy provided valuable income for over 20 years to my husband's family! Without that policy, I just don’t know what they would’ve done.
