There was no solution to ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ insurance company reductions. So we ๐™˜๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š๐™™ one. "It's too good to be true," is often what I hear when I explain how we ensure insurance companies pay physical therapy clinics ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐ซ๐ž๐ข๐ฆ๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ per visit for workers' comp and auto patients. It may be unbelievable but it is tried and true. In fact, more than 50 clinics in Michigan have been using our technology since 2017. And it all started about 15 years before that. I was an executive at a physical therapy group and then network where our goal was to provide more revenue for our clients. We brought in a record number of patients through marketing, increased the rates for insurance contracts, and still, the revenue was not growing appropriately. I poured through the numbers. The data showed that the contracts were not paying correctly. Insurance companies have a lot of power, and we found that our clients were too tired to fight them any longer. They were using PPO Networks and random discounts to process the bills and reimburse our clients less money. We disputed the payments, we worked with lawyers, and everything resulted in the insurance company's favor. Apparently, this was a normal thing, and we were told several times that there was nothing we could do about it. ๐’๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐จ๐›๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐œ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐š ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐๐ฒ-๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ข๐ญ. There had to be an answer, and we were unwilling to give up. Time and time again, we were told nothing can be done, there is no way around it. Finally, we created a solution and proved everyone wrong. Our solution results in more revenue for our clients. Physical therapists change lives every day. More revenue makes it easier for clinic owners to focus on providing the best care to their patients and afford higher salaries for the most skilled therapists. It gives power back to them and allows them to get paid the correct amount for the work they do.
